Re: Personal note to all MEDICS !!!!!
I wonder if there's anything I'm not actually guilty of.
Like murdering 6 people and burying them under... Damn. Uh, like setting fire to a coup... There has to be something...Comment

Re: Personal note to all MEDICS !!!!!
Not much of a team player then? huhOriginally posted by (TM)KillJoyOk ...I play medic about 1/3 of the time, and I will NOT revive anyone unless I can survive doing it. I'm not dying to revive someone. If the time is not right, tough beans, you can lay there calling 'medic!' all you want. I try to see how you got killed so it doesn't happen to me, and then, I will revive. Sometimes, even if its a bit risky, I would try to revive the Squad Leader, but trust me, I look out for #1 first. If I'm the last guy and trying to cap a flag, I will revive, but even then the time has to be right. There are lots of circumstances, but someone has to stay alive, and I would just as soon, it were me :-)
If someone has to stay alive it is the squadleader! I will in any circumstances take a death if it means i can revive my SL. In the long run it benifits me, my squad and most of all my team.
You say "look out for #1 first"...... #1 is the squadleader mate

Re: Personal note to all MEDICS !!!!!
plenty of times i'll be sniping, kill someone, and then a medic comes up and revives them. they're still prone on the ground, so i kill 'em again.
it's happened to me before, but it's not like it counts as multiple deaths. so i don't mind...more kills for me, mwuhahah!Comment

Re: Personal note to all MEDICS !!!!!
eh. ive gotten gold sooo many times as assault against a massive slew of G36e medic revive pigs, it feels so good. since there is not to many ways for me to get team points, some golds with the pump shotty tooOriginally posted by ent|tyI've been #1 in so many rounds as a medic, it's so easy. I no longer respect anyone who is #1 on their team if they played a medic.
Be an engineer and #1, or an assault guy. Then you have my respect.
By the way, I don't mean YOU literally, camper... YOU as in anyone

Re: Personal note to all MEDICS !!!!!
Meh, you don't get a death until the 15 seconds are up.
What's the difference? Because someone gets more points than you? (medic revives, enemy kills)Comment

Re: Personal note to all MEDICS !!!!!
no its the 3 minute wait to spawn because 15 medics keep jumping on you in front of that apc that just got 19 of the easiest kills. alot of people, myself included will wait till the person gets revived, then bam nade launch for 2 easy kills, most people going for revives are so oblivious to whats going on around them making them the easiest kills, had the medic just looked around he would have got a kill and a revive, then 0 tickets lost instead of 2.Comment

Re: Personal note to all MEDICS !!!!!
it doesnt matter at all
as long as ur revived u wont have any deaths
if ur killed once and revived before u respawn ull still have zero deaths
it is annoying thoComment

I clear the area first, most of the time. Other times, I run in all LEEROY JENKINS like and go for glory, often calling for a medic for my self in result.Comment

Re: Personal note to all MEDICS !!!!!
Medic is, by a considerable margin my most played kit. I have to say, i get irritated when a medic revives me right when we're clearly going to die. But then i do it as well from time to time. I have a few rules and guidelines about how i work as a medic, some are more flexible than others!
Firstly, i don't revive people if it really looks like we're going to die, with one exception. I always, always try to revive the Squad leader even if it looks hopeless. That way, if by some miracle he survives, everyone can spawn back on him!
I also use a couple of tricks to try and maximize survival chances. If i see someone go down i have a system.
1. if it looks safe to revive, throw a medkit at him as you run out then select shock paddles, that way when you dive next to him, there's a medkit ready either for you or him in case you do get shot at.
2. revive and leg it instantly, i got this dive 'n' revive technique down to a fine art now and can often dodge ridiculous amounts of fire, you just have to hope the guy gets up quickly and the medkit you dropped comes in handy!
3. Sounds ridiculous, but sometimes throwing a grenade at a fallen comrade will clear out bad guys immediately next to him. And you can't re-kill your teammate!
I play medic virtually all the time and before anyone says it i will admit, yes that probably makes me a n00b and yes i do suck at killing people, so i've gotta do something right!Comment

I will revive anyone on IO ,whats the point in letting a team mate re-spawn,after all i could be stood next to your body thinking do i revive or not and by that time BOOM i've been capped, how do i know who capped you and where he is untill i revive you and we both go and give him the bad news

If you lob 4 nades at a body that is criticaly wounded it becomes a dead body that no one can revive so yes you can re-kill you team matesComment
