I had a dream that ended like that once.

Only you were Halle Barry, and I ended up wearing her underwear on my head.

I have to say, this is not always true.

If you're on a ff off server you can pick someone up at high speed, but if ff is on and you run into someone holding e at top speed in a dpv they will die.

Just dont attempt this crap if the tank already has a gunner....I ve problably logged about 500 Tk's from people jumping at my moving tank while I already had a gunner...idiots.

                Is this a DPV-issue only?

This has actually saved my skin a few times. Often if i'm near a black hawk as it's taking off, i've seen it coming towards me and i start crapping myself and just think to hold 'e' and as if by magic, i'm in the back seat of the chopper!

However it's infuriating if i'm driving a humvee and somebody asks for a ride, so i drive towards them at a not unreasonable pace, honking my horn and saying "Get in" with the commo rose. Inevitably the guy sort of stands there looking at me until i run him over. That does get on my nerves.

Or better yet, i attempt to let somebody in a black hawk, but not only does he wait until i'm on the ground, he runs under my black hawk so i can't see him! Sometimes i think they do it on purpose!

^^^They do. Then you land and get punished for a TK. I remember one time I was dropped off my squad at the beach in Wake, capped it, I land on the road, they all get in and a desert patrol vehicle came up doing about 120 crashed into me and blew up the helicopter. For some reason it said I killed everyone and then I got punished by the f***nut that drove into the chopper.

This is not so. It works for all vehicles regardless of server settings (ff on or off). My teammates and I use it all the time b/c it is one of our goals to move as fast as possible. We can't stand the players that mill around aimlessly. MOVE IT, SOLDIER...!

why would make a vehicle stop to pick you up anyways?? everybody knows you can just jump into them when they are doing 80.

For some time I stopped responding to requests for pickup after leaving in a jeep...
Because I'd turn around for them, drive towards them, only to squash them and get punished for my effords...

In my clan, we never stop for eachother...
                                Everyone knows to hold e...
I don't even have to see the jeep comming... I am just walking, hear the sound, press e and boom, I'm in the jeep heading elsewhere...
