  • Automatically Connecting To A Server?

I want to add something to BF2 shortcut so it automatically connects to a server and types the password for me - can it be done? and if so, how?

    Add to shortcut:
    +playerName yourname +playerPassword yourpassword

Note the capitalized N and P, these must be there!

    For disabling intro movies:
    +restart

Very strange. Try +password before +joinServer, maybe this help?

PS: you see all console commands yourself when you add to shortcut: +help

Use the BF2 protocol handler instead.

seems like BF2 can't automagically connect to a passworded server
