Diving works in the jet's favour. All AA guns find it very hard to aim vertically upwards, you can get a missile lock which won't last, because they'd have destroyed you before you got the chance to shoot a single missile. Your only defence is the AA flak cannon - and it's bloody well hard to focus that vertically.

Dive bombing doesn't work in the jet's favour for the reasons stated, but that just proves "zipp0r" is an utter... nub. Bombing AA is a waste of time, when you can just go on a vertical dive at the AA and kill it with a few rounds from the MG. A stinger takes what, 1 direct hit to take out...

So wait, let me get this straight, he cant bail out but you can fly away in the glitched up plane and have a 9/10 chance of not getting blown up by a crappy AA system?

i like acting like a noob.....i love calling ppl hacker (even tho i know they dont hack) and i like yelling at ppl for killing me....and telling them not to kill me.....lol

my point is, some ppl whine for the rise everyone gets out of it....i whine alot even though im quite happy....just for comic relief.....nobody tends to get upset at me, they just laugh.....and no one has come here to post because of me....lol i hope maybe someday..

The ballance against jets is pretty unfair for the guy on the ground when he has a rifle and the jet has hundreds of rounds and big bl**dy bombs.

There is no skill in flying towards infantry straffing away then dropping bombs on them, no skill at all. Even less when baseraping a carrier!

I would think it is to take care of heavy armour, defend soldiers on the ground and take out other air assets. Not to baserape to nock up easy unimportant points.

Please tell me where the skill is in taking out infantry with a jet. The skill is in playing an integral part in the team play. I play sniper and admit that there is no skill in placing claymores to get points. E.g. by every flag, hence the reason I only use them to protect myself.

To retstate my original point...dive bombing still works in the AA gunners favor, or at least his teams favor, if u can believe it...
See by forcing the J-10s to dive bomb the carrier guns, it draws fire away from your tanks and men, and they have to go all the way back to base to resupply... So when they dive bomb the AA gun, they inadvertently hurt their team. Becuase they aren't bombing the guys on the ground and all they get is one tiny little kill.

And yes mav, he did in fact dive bomb me once, but again, for the reasons stated above, from a purely team based viewpoint, such actions still hurt him more than, I, the gunner. I sincerely doubt any J-10 would waste the enitre round, taking out one AA gun with bombs. Unless they are of course a demented and wickly sheltered little nub. lol.
