Why the hell do we keep playing BF2?

Every BF2 forum is full of the same complaints: bad hitboxes, too many hackers and cheaters, bunny-hopping bull-****, inaccurate cones of fire, poor teamwork and players who'll kill you for a pilot's seat, lag, and, of course, snipers.

What's so good about this game that we complain about its myriad faults but keep coming back?

because its the only modern combat FPS game that has more then just infantry. and alot of people stay for the ranking system

and teh awards/badges/ribbons and othervirtual trinkets that almost look pretty...

its almost like crack...










i play for fun....i really do think its a fun game with so much more to offer than any other FPS game

When it comes down to it, the game is fun! Plus, I never run into as many hackers as I see threads on this forum.

The only game all our clan mates work as a squad to pwn servers. While playing drunk and carrying on teamspeak.

lol, i snipe. i've been killed by snipers plenty of times before...no need to complain about it.

besides that, BF2 is just fun. sure it can be a whole lot better, but it's still a good game.

Because as buggy, glitchy, and imbalanced this software is, there's still a couple of land masses to be conquered under all the rubbish.

I really play it because I just enjoy it. Played last night after almost a month off and it was real nice to come back to it. I stopped playing for badges and points a year ago. And it is just fun running around for a change. We all get real caught up in the problems of the game, but after awhile, I have just looked beyond it. Now, we'll see what we feel about it when QW comes out.
