Spawns coalition and hauls @$$ to the closest boat and takes off as fast as possible leaving everyone else behind so you can face 15 opposition all alone..



There is strength in numbers you @$$hole MF. let the boat fill up then take off. by staying together you increase your chance of survival since your team mates can provide cover fire.

Dont use the boats, go over the mountain and lead a team through the village to the farthest point on the map, then cross the river unseen and make your way up the outskirts to the rear bunker flag....take that and then head to slums, there you have Opposition trapped and victory is assured....


Boats are actually the WRONG choice when wanting to get across the river, I guarantee you will be taken out every time by the dug in Opposition defenders....

Was your argument that i took the boat solo so that you could be spared being killed? It makes better sense to fill up the boats and send some guys on foot. do both.

Not true at all. I was playing the FIESTY server the other night for several rounds of Mosul, and the Americans had no problems getting to land, and to the back of the map.

The [NET] and WkA guys were making it the biggest bloodbath I have seen in a long time. The wins were back and forth, the balance was perfect. Don't nerf this map dcon, its the best infantry map I have played yet, in any mod out there. The bunny hopping was pissing some people off (just like the C4 chuckers in BF2 lol), but that is pretty much the way DC was, so you are gholding true to your recreation of it.


BTW, Zinguan is completely correct, and that how you win on the US side from what I have seen. It works just great.

this was not about smart play versus bad play. This is about poor map design.

My sig was from a all those bastards complaining about J-10s and how unfair they were. and the people saying how bad BF2 was but still were playing. As well as the playins in gaem who ***** about being base raped or so and so is cheating. Basicly all those MFers who just complain to have something to post about.

I dont consider my OP a whine rather some constructive critisism to help the not so experienced players out there play as a team and think before they drive the hell off and leave the entire team behind.

And i dont think its a bad map design its great in MHO but it does require a lot of team work.

Or you can take the boats and just stop before the big bend before the Village. Climb up that steep river bank at a certain place, and into the out of bonds area. Head towards the village. If you run, you will be out of the combat area just before the counter reach 0. Then you can head over the mountains towards the rear slum flag un-noticed.

on a serious note, with a good team you can capture the shoreline in a reasonable amount of time.

OMG what a useless endever....... I forgot about that and operation overlord. you would get a couple guys set up with MGs in the bunkers and it was alll but over.... OMG you had two teams of 15 snipers on each side.


Or was over lord DOD.... same darn thing...

I loved playing the US on Omaha....jeez people just don't like challenges anymore....


Play tactically and you will be fine, play like a Dumb*** and you will be slaughtered.
