Ok, so this might belong in the media section, I know, but, I figure this is good for the people that are completely clueless on how to aim for camera missles, and how to fly to give your gunner a good base.. etc. And plus, I only really post here anyways. This is a PILOT movie, as opposed to Chodda's upcoming GUNNER video, which will be longer, and more time put into it.

About the video:

This is me and Chodda. I'm piloting, and he is gunning, you see it from my perspective. I made this from about 3 FRAPS files, each being ~2 min. long. Nothing special, it's just what I had. Because, if you don't know, Chodda is working on a Gunner video, which will probably be 10X better than this, but I just got premiere last night (at around 10pm LOL), and I am just starting to learn how to use it, but I think this is pretty good for the amount of knowledge I have of the program (if any at all :laugh:).

The file is only available on putfile as of now, but will soon be a high quality, uncompressed mirror, if you want it (250mb w/fast host). What you are watching now is compressed by DiVX, AND compressed by putfile

Also, some of you might be wondering about the jet videos I am going to make (which is still going to happen btw), well this is just practice.

Played finally whats with the flashing. Headache !

Nice piloting dude, what you fly with. Those flips are pretty hard to pull off. I use a gamepad, looks identical to the xbox 360 controllers, except its for windows.

Not playing for me odd.

Takes like 1-2 minutes to load up.

If not, then that means you don't have the DiVX codec.

I'm going to edit the thread and include a link real quick.. I figured most everyone has DiVX..

I failed to see what we are looking for. Hovering over a uncappable USA spawn point and launching TV guided missles into the Essex and Helicopters doesn't require a lot of effort does it?

Sure you are going to kill the enemy. You don't give them the opportunity to defend themselves. lol

Looking forward to part 2. Hopefully there will be some more dual battles. You know, the kind of enemy that has a valid chance at defending themselves.

LOL, like I said, it's from a couple of FRAPS files, not a whole bunch.

You also have to understand I was averaging ~15-20fps.... lol. It wasn't meant to be anything anywhere near challenging. It was just me messing around with premiere, and it shows people that have no idea how to pilot, some tips. Also shows little things I do.. like looking behind me alot and mouselook (which isn't used alot, because at the time I was recording, I was getting ULTRA low FPS and I was just trying to keep control of the heli.

Well yeah I like metal.. but don't confuse it with death metal... or anything like that. I hate that almost as much as country/rap :laugh:

Cool movie how the hell did you performed that Front-Flip? I got a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro but I always got that Big question what's better flying a chopper with joystick or with Mouise/Keyboard?

Well this same video here, it's at 95% uploaded so far, and it's 250mb, it is completely uncompressed, so, MUCH better quality than the putfile.

Oh and the gunner vid, i'm sure that will be well worth the download. We're still working on getting footage... it will probably be done sometime later today.
