    "Teamwork" squad

Jumped on Team America's IO Karkand server last night and latched onto a squad titled Teamwork and what a 90 minute session it turned out to be. Got in 6 rounds and went 6-0. The observation I make from last night was just how instrumental good teamwork can be. I played 3 rounds on each side with the same guys and the whole team, not just the squad, rocked. As MEC not once was a flag taken, or even turned gray for that matter, with one score ending up 155-0 (wonder what the most lopsided score is). AS USMC we broke through each time and ended up taking all but one flag. Never was the outcome in doubt. The commander was communicating with the squad leaders who in turn set objectives on the map. Guys spawning on leaders and in voice asking what was needed kit wise... it was awesome... squads dividing up the map to protect the passages as MEC and also applying hard pressure to force a breakthrough as USMC... The point to this that good teamwork will render amazing results so squad up, work together and pay attention and you can slice the opponents into many many small parts...

Welcome. Ive found some great intraweb friends because of BF2 teamwork. An incredible tool both to have fun and not be frustrated about the game.

Its how the game was meant to be played...fortunately I discovered a site that caters specifically to this style of play so I've had the pleasure of that type of experience every day for almost two years straight now. You'll find that beating up one team using teamwork is fun for a while but your best times we'll be battling an enemy that is using that same high level of play/teamwork. Click my sig if you care to join me.

Lol, sounds like heaven. I've had some games like that, as for the most lop sided score ever.. the worst I've seen is 235 to 0

But yeah, voice mics seem to help alot first off, and some intelligent squad members can really turn the tide in a battle. :)

Dude, you were playing I/O, of course you are gonna find alot of teamwork. The only good thing about I/O is the Teamwork, everything else is very boring IMO.

I remember back in the day, when Straferight Karkand server was always full, and the Mec were constantly holding back USMC to the tune of 205-0, with Armour. No offence, and again this is just my opinion, but I guarantee that was a hell of alot more fun getting raped by armour than playing ring around the roses in I/O mode.

But to each there own....I quess

When i find a teamwork squad, the enxt round ill be commander and travel with them and put all the assets except uav at their disposal. Well take turns commanding, its awsome being an SL and marking a flag for arty before you go in and getting supplies whenever u want and vehcles, and scan n spot support.

btw if you want to defend a flag VERY well as a sniper, put claymores at the flag and then back away from the flag to a position where you are at least slighty hidden and at the 75% mark between medium and close range (this works best with svd or type 88) when they come to cap it, the clays will piss them off and you can snipe and lob nades, causes PANIC

Ha. really? I think that was my squad... I always play karkand servers with my squad named "teamwork". Maybe it was mine.

i always make a squad named TEAMWORK, but only idiots join. Honestly, how hard is it to spawn on a squad leader and stay close to him? every time they spawn on me they always veer off in another direction, or sometimes they dont spawn on me at all. Thats why i have so little time as SL, i never get any benefits. I think 1/100 rounds or so actually gets me a productive squad.

when i can get battlefield 2 to work again, that's what i hope to find, is a squad that will work together on everything, it's becoming harder and harder to find a good squad that practices teamwork almost exculsively...
