how.. there is just so many things to keep you busy even if it doesn't involve killing, like i will have to do to get my hours, can't expect me to fight for 300 hours do you that is what separates this game the most from 2142 IMO, that game is more quake less battlefield.

ever driven a boat under the carrier as China while flagless as the jet rapers look everywhere for you, slapped C4 on a boat FF-0 hit the downed plane and detonated. find a thousand things to do with C4, (jihad choppers come to mind, if a jet crashes into you with C4 attached to your chopper you get the kill not them ) good times.

I play for fun since i realized by the time i do reach 50,000 the game will be unpopular.

I hit that glitch that doesn't allow you to rank up after a certain point if u didn't get the badges in the right order(forget the rank) So Im stuck. Luckily I'm only mising 2 unlocks neither of which i wanted anyway :)

Annoying though to be sure, it's been sittiing with the bar at full for a month, just sucks this glitch occurs.

Why do you guys care about ranks so much? All they do is allow you to have a better chance at commanding, is that what you want? Personally, I wouldn't think it is an achievement to know I have been sitting in front of my computer for weeks playing BF2. 300 hours is 5 days of doing nothing but play BF.

Maybe you need to get away from the points for a while. It seems like they've gotten to your head. Try playing some mods or playing just to play for fun. Forget about the points and they will accumulate.

Agreed. Try PR if you haven't already. I got it 2 weeks ago, and it completely changed everything I thought about BF2 ranks and unlocks. Its like playing 1942 all over again. You play for the fun, not the e-points.

yeah well i am quitting this game soon, and i knew i would never play more than this, and i am gunnery sergeant, and thats taken me a year, but in a year i only have 200 hours.

I've racked up 341 hours over 2 years or so, I personally just play for fun, but I do like getting the unlocks, other than that I don't really care much.

Well I regisered on the 31st of december 2005, and in that time over various accounts I probrably have about 200 hours. The most time I ever spent on a game was pokemon yellow 243 HOURS FTW :p
