Re: something worse than first/master sarge hike
no, not like master sargeant, when i hit 180k i didn't have vet tank, as soon as i got vet tank i got general a second later, not to mention armour medal, (twas a good award round for me) since i hadn;t got a reward in like 2 months aside form stars.Originally posted by Chaelumm... don't you need to get all veteran badges before you hit 180,000???Comment

Re: something worse than first/master sarge hike
That's kinda neat. I'm about 5000 away from 180,000 and all I need to do is kill 15 people with a jet (too easy). Just need to find a solid internet connection.Comment

Re: something worse than first/master sarge hike
Inbetween ranks sucks, I feel better when Im getting something for the effort besides points. I played my butt off getting from Gunny to First. Now the motivation is gone and 50,000 seems unatainable. Started playing for Vet badges and ribbons just to break it up a bit.Comment

Re: something worse than first/master sarge hike
Yes sometimes. But i find ways of making it more interesting. Different playing styles makes it fun. If i get bored of IO ill go play vehicles and camp airfields with the M95.
I saved joining a clan until i got really bored about a month or so ago. So i then joined a clan and its a hell of a lot more interesting.Comment

Re: something worse than first/master sarge hike
I found that going after awards helps the time pass between ranks and keeps me interested.
Yes, the whole time requirement for certain ranks/awards is a bit extreme in some cases. But I suppose it's meant to award those who play the game a ton.Comment
