So, as I've always said, the only credible threat are other jets. Now, if you have the amazing auto-missile-dodger "J-10", those poor bastards in the F35-B's are toast. On maps like Dalian and Wake, the J-10 is the easiest vehicle to whore.

dont let me catch you coming straight at my attack chopper, under certain circumstances I have TVed a J10 coming straight at me, and also nailed them when they come in to re-arm on more than one occasion

its been my experience that if there is a great helo pilot, you better be a more than an average jet pilot to take the helo down, a good helo pilot will dodge a nub in a J10 everytime all the while raping the **** out of your ground troops until the J10 has no airbase (like on Wake), once there is no airbase the J10 is totally worthless as there are not too many people that can land it in a tight spot to sit beside an ammo crate (although Ive seen that)

I don't see any merit in raping the Airfield over and over either. I am NOT at all proud of whoring jets.

I've long before figured out, but just now I feel I am getting actually good at this.

I sometimes get delusional and looking at my big scores I think "wow, I'm a pro jet whore", while I know that actually I'm just whoring a stupidly overpowered vehicle.

Then, people come and say. "Hey, good teamwork on AA's can bring a jet down". Or "I'm gonna TV pwn you noob". Or "I can whore the F35B and rape the J10 spawn non stop". Yeah right, now tell me how often these happen.

If i ever get the f35 in wake, i make sure the second j10 never leaves the airfield. if by luck the other j10 pilot is a nub, and the z10 gets taken down early, i can keep both j10s and the z10 out of the air indefinitely. Its not hard. but then thats where teamwork with AA comes into play. If the 4 AA sites near beach, airfield and north base are all used, no matter how good i am at being a jet whore, you cant do anything about 4 stinger sites AND keep the j10s down every 20 seconds, not to mention the z10 respawn which makes it even more ahrder.

Personally, I don't have much respect for players that exclusively use the j-10 on wake then again who cares about my opinion it's only a game.

I remember stealing a J10 halfway through the round as USMC on wake. I would just snipe people out with the m95 and flew away with only the damage my m95 did. I never lost it and if I remember correctly, I landed it on the carrier just before the round ended. The J10 is quite a beast, but honestly, if it was an SU or even the Mig on oman, I would have been cut to pieces from IGLA/Stinger fire from all across the map within minutes. Wake is easy for the J10 because of the lack of mobile AA and there are no USMC AA emplacements that are useful for protecting friendly air assets on the way to the flags. The whole idea of J10 being king of the sky is BS, though. Try to go 50-0 on a daqing or fushe server in a J10. Damn difficult, I tell ya. Wake is just way to balanced in favor of the J10, so the majority of people hate/fear it. Just my $0.02 though.

The J10 are the most unbalanced things in the game. The only real threat to them is the USS essex big gun. When flying a J10 that is the only thing that can get me out the air unless i go on a bombing run an i hit a tree. I got my 33 kill streak in a J10. If i do manage to get an F35 then ill cruise at around 300 ft and every so often dive down to bomb the air strip.

But a blatant ram will get you kicked on many of the servers I frequent. However, the more skilled "Bump and Run", is largely undetectable. :evil:


I've flown only two gunners who have taken out a jet with a TV. One was pure fluke, and the other pure luck. It is not a day to day "skill".

1)locate j10
2) switch to bomb sites
3)get close
4) switch to missile and fire (even if is not locked on)
5) try to dodge the carcase

Dude!! I have tried to point this fact out to so many people its not even funny. Does it truely take skills to master what is undoubtedly the most over powered and imbalanced weapon in a game?

J-10 is a fun machine for sure, I love it, no matter what I'm called.

When I'm in a J-10 I feel invulnerable, as long as I don't touch ESSEX.

I think imbalances like this make game more fun actually, now besides capturing flags, you try to steal that awesome jet from the Chinese.
