It's not that. My favourite Wake Island server is filled with many, many high ranked players. I don't actually think i have described the spot properly, it's certainly not where everybody looks. It's not obvious at all.

Yeah, my favourite battle would have to be South Base vs Beach. Whatever class, whatever route, whatever army, whatever base.. it's always good.

That is until the helicopters come and hover around the bases picking off people because they want some points. God i hate those selfish fools, they don't understand that they are just ruining the game for everybody else.

And Gun Slinger, the place im talking about is NOT common or obvious. I have never seen anybody go there. Just lay prone on the wing facing North Base with the bushes covering you. I always look there and never see a soul around that area even though its probably the best place for shooting around that plane.

Damn those helicopters trying to support their team!

The best thing on Wake Island is dropping a few bombs around the airfield and taking out a good 6+ people all waiting for a J10 to appear.

Its a fun map but the J-10 is god on the map.

Only if the US team are n44bs, and doesn't help you. I can easily hold down the J10's.. and I'm getting pissed if I have to fight alone when I'm the commander. No one helps you. You are on your own.. Me as engineer vs 2 other guys trying to take Airfield, isn't always easy, when NO medics revive you! Also in IO, NO ONE PICKS UP YOUR MEDIC KIT, and REVIVE you. I played in a squad yesterday on Karkand in IO, 2 medics on my left site. I died, they didn't notice and didn't revive me. Then I got C4'ed, and left the server. I HATE when there's no T E A M W O R K.

Hmm it depends on the server... Sometimes you get like 64 lone wolfs doing nothing, but two J10 pilots who dominate everything... It's not very difficult to bring 'em down, and on the carrier everybody is TKing like little crazy monkeys. Same for Airfield.

If there's good teamwork on both sides, it often is a balanced map if the F35B pilots are not some drunken kids. Although mostly it's just a TK party..

People blame the airwhores for a reason, it is kind of unfair for the US side when you got jets coming from out of nowhere knocking your blackhwaks down as soon as they get in the air, the commander just plowing artillery on the US carrier and then you have the helicopters hovering around the little island with the gunner taking everyone on it.

Sometimes the USA never get a chance and really the crucial part of the US game is to get that blackhawk high in the sky, or the long way around the island and get it over the island at the start of the game. That way, the 5 or 6 people in the BH can just parachute down to South Base or Beach (what i usually do) and cap the bases without difficulty. That's when Wake Island is good.

RIB method is drive up next to it switch to a passenger seat on the side of the boat facing the ship and get out you should land on it if not try again

dude the J10 PILOT owns, not the J10, without a skilled pilot its sh!t, so yeah i snipe there sometimes, and sometimes on the roof by the jeep spawn at north village, another good spot, yeah goodnight:)
