I'm confused. You say you've bought the game three times but it seems like only once. The second time was from your buddy, who I assume gave it to you at a much cheaper price.(I'd hope) The third being from ebay? You mean you bought the cd-key from some guy off ebay? How does that add up to $150? I feel bad about your situation and hope something happens that allows you to be happy and continue playing.

The guy that sold you the cd-key probably did sell it to someone else. What a ****. You cant really expect integrity from a guy like that though.

^^^Pretty secure method but I'd suggest that you post those keys to yourself on some web-mail server you use. maybe even to two accounts. Thats how I do it. I got stuff on my own from 1998 or something. Works well.

thats bs completely, all my keys came from eBay without a single problem over the last 5 years. There's this thing called buy protection, among other things.

Apparently problems won't fix themselves so he should have contacted eBay about the seller, so it's his own fault for being i this situation.

He did buy it. I think the lesson is to not lose CD keys.

One thing you could do if you were so inclined is, IF you saved your receipt, or bought it with a credit card, you should be able to have proof that you bought it and that might persuade them to give you a fresh key if you nicely explain the whole circumstance to them. You be surprised what companies will do for paying customers...even EA.

This is nature's way of telling you that there is a price to pay for losing things such as a CD key. Consider it a lesson and deal with it. In other words, you have no one to blame but yourself.

Keep them in a text on a floppy or something and pass lock them, a 1 cd case is easier to hang onto rather than box, booklets, papers and other cd cases...

i suggest you get ten million monkeys to type for ten million years on ten million typewiters, eventually, one of them will type out a valid CD Key for you.....

If you were just buying the CD key then why would you spend 50$ for it off Ebay instead of buying the acctual legit game..

omg, that sucks. Go to BestBuy and secure an UNOPENED Game, and try again, it is a great game, dont give up!!

Just things you can't learn in college......

Hopefully you learned something ..... in the real world we call it RESPONSIBILITY.......

                            1) You lost your original = no responsibility
                            2) You took an easy way out by asking a buddy for his = not taking responsibility for your 1st mistake
                            3) Again, you took an easy way out (cheap) going to EBay. YOU GOT WHAT YOU DESERVED

You kids need to learn the hard way so good for you!! Listen to glcm1961, JTF2_darkloop, and especially troybob.

You aren't getting any help from here, so you may as well give up.

Plead your case to EA, and forget the apathetic statements made on these web-boards today. Your own irresponsibility led to your getting ripped off. Thats all their is to it.

Did you leave college because you failed? Because anyone with a brain knows NOT to buy CD keys from ebay.

Try dunking your head in some water.

On-Topic, Well first off don't buy anything from E-bay.

Second, anyone can loose a CD key, it happens..but twice? Ok....you learn your lesson.

Now just buy another BF2, that's all you can do, unless you want to save the money.

Otherwise there are hundreds of games out there (with and without CD keys)
