What next for the Battlefield Series???

I've watched as EA have gone through all the different time periods and wars, but the question has to be asked. After EA recently decided to make a game in the future do they now go even further ahead into the future and other planets, or do they go back in time and improve graphics and gameplay ect... I would love to know everyones thoughts, and also which game they've liked/played most in the Battlefield series.

probably a revist of BF2 or 1942 or maybe something completly diffent like an MMOFPS

I personally hope it will BF2 revisited, but I can see them going to outer space which doesnt sound great.

The medieval things sounds cool but again can't see them going that far back.

Maybe they will just make a 1918 game, but then again....boom....boom....boom isn't as fun as boomboomboomboom.

Actually, it will probably be a relatively futuristic shooter... like 2050 or something. It will probably be like Ghost Recon with advanced weapons and equipment.

If you dont think that would be fun, check out the forgotten Hope 1918 mod for BF42.. Its pretty cool. I dont have a linky so just google it.

I think it should be another modern combat game. Wiht modern weapons, but possibly differrent army branch selections such as Army, Marines, AF, or Navy.
