I think what they're looking for is an example, such as:

"BF2 is devoid of any value because... the main programmers spent more time eating donuts than writing out proper code."

They probably couldnt find any monkeys willing to work for the pay, so they had to use the human game programers.

I think someone was fired by Lockheed Martin and got a job with better benefits at Chengdu Aircraft Industry Corporation. Then they went on to help develop BF2.

Someone forgot to tell EA that the Infinite Monkey Theorem only works with either infinite monkeys or infinite time, which is why DICE (Digitally Infinite Chimpanzee Expedition) is failing.

if you have infinite monkeys randomly typing on keyboards one of them is going to write the greatest novel of all time....or something like that.


i think DICE's seemingly brilliant idea to use the ENIAC computer to do there programming might not have been such a good idea after all.

Infinite monkey theorem = If you have infinite time and one immortal monkey, it will eventually type up all the greatest literary works and then some, with infinite monkeys and infinite time, they will immediately produce all texts and in crazy sequences (i.e. one monkey writes the first letter of Hamlet, next one writes second, etc) and so on and so on. Infinite monkeys and limited time will produce a similiar result to the previous.

In other words, DICE seems to be randomly tapping at keys praying that BF2 won't snap, and they'll probably have perfected the game once they've released an infinite number of patches.

Alternatively, I think many of the monkey are playing bf2 themselves. Would explain a lot.
