The QBZ-97 has the least deviation of all the specops carbines when lying prone. It also has the least deviation of all the weapons in BF2 when lying down.
The zoom deviation is also slightly lower when compared with the other carbines. Its the best zoom deviation after the sniper rifles. In other words you can get tighter groupings on your shots.

I wouldn't say favorite, but it's definitely a close second, and the best Spec Ops guns hands down. I've been trying to tell this to people...but noooooooooooo

It's all personal experience, in my opinon. Some guns just don't work for me, no matter what I do.

For example, the medic's L85A1. I'm getting sniped with the accursed thing, but I can't kill much with it even on single shot at distance, but the default or G3SE is fine for me.

Sniper SVD? Nah, I can't shoot crap with it. AT DAO-12? Can't hit anything with it point blank, but others are 1-shotting me from 40 yards... Assault G3? Again players can 1 shot with that, but I can't seem to make it work for me.

Its an ok wep I am usally engi when I am PLA but I play spec ops from time to time. The aim is pretty nice and the gun its self is pretty deccent as well.

So yeah, this gun knocks my socks off. I find it amazingly accurate and medium distance, and I prefer its iron sights over ANY other gun. It is an all around GREAT gun. Does anyone think it is there FAVOURITE gun too?!!¿¿?

I used it last night, an I will continue to use it every time I play PLA Spec. Ops.

It's amazingly accurate. I still like the Ak47 though.

i agree dave, i was on Dragon and i hit a guy from US arty that was standing on the rim of vista point, (the hill cp) and yeah i killed him in like 4-5 shots on single fire

Personally I think it sounds like a pop gun and prefer the chunkier M4.

LOL lying prone and lying down are the same thing...anyway leaving that point aside, i just tried this gun a few days ago and realised its an absolute cannon!!! I'm loving it it seems accurate fast firing and powerful. I also tried the MEC assault's AK47 the other day and pwned. Time for me to use some stock guns instead of the stupid unlocks. QBZ-97 is beast.

the main reason i like the QBZ-97, is that full auto fire (from 30-50yds) is very accurate, and i usually never fail in killin the enemy(especially when ur against a sniper), LOL!!

sound doesnt effect the outcome of the gun, but yeah i guess some people gethung up on that! and like i think that the QBZ-97 looks like a compact version of FAMAS
