I'm an addict...

What should I do, I'm addicted to BF2 and it's starting to affect my school work. I play for at least an hour most days, the obvious solution would be to stop playing but I can’t seem to do this. I've got a life and friends so I'm not a loser but BF2 is going to take over I reckon, I don't want to be a fat loser with a **** job when I'm 30 who is a computer game junkie lol. Any tips on how I should play less BF2, find a different hobby other than computers?

At least an hour.

I used to play 13 hours straight each day over weekends.

4-6 hours on most other days.

seriuosly i go to play bf2 i stop think if there anything else important, like homework then i think of bf2 as a treat for me if i get my homework done

36 here, and since I bought the game (1 month ago though)I didn't leave it for a single day (3:20 avg a day)... and yes, I have a miss as well... It's all possible lol

To OP; You are not an addict in any measure. 1 hourt per day is nothing. I mean ordinary people use 2 hours ( 2006 in Finland 168 minutes) per day watching television. After your daily dose of BF2 you can, with clear conscience, check for example CSI Miami and news.

I dropped TV off almost totally. I'm sick of Idols, Paradise Island, all the reality shiit gushing out from the screen. Not my thing at all.

I'm begining to be lazy of doing sports but I want my daily adrenaline and feel of victory. Online gaming is good way of getting em

As crap as it might sound, get your homework shifted out the way first. This leaves you more hours of fragging your little heart away. Weekends were made for gaming so your ok there, but try to keep it steady during your school/ college days (weekdays)

I normally have the choice between learning lines for preforming arts or whacking on BF2 for good few hours. 9/10 times I pick the latter, which isnt the best thing to do in this case, but do what you want just as long as it doesn't effect your studies too much.
