Awards at least shows you have tried different aspects of the game.
I really think that more ranks should have certain award requirements. It would force people to play other roles instead of Karkand IO or J-10 Wake whoring the entire way. I think 4 star general should require ALL awards to be received. Even some of the lower-mid ranks should have some basic award requirements (including ribbons and medals).Comment

Ranks will come with time, ..awards you have to work on, and thats what I like. I like to keep track of them and work to get them. I watch my hours in certain kits, and play with them toward an award. Certain medals and awards are more important than others. As an example, take a quick pole of how many have the War College ribbon? Anyways, IMO the awards are the better driver, ...as opposed to rank. When I look at someones stats, what impresses me the most is the awards vs the amount of time played to get them.Comment
