same thing here when i updated my PB for BF2 and 2142 the game got really jerky at times

Yes, I updated my punkbuster to see if that would fix it but it didn't, how did you fix yours?

lol you said it "got" jerky at times after you updated, did it go away gradually or after 1 game?

at times its fine but then all of a suden during the game it will get very jerky and skippy, but sometimes it is fine

ah ok so you still have the problem, I guess it must be a thing with punkbuster lately?

probably but there might be a way to fix it hit your command key during the game (~) and type pb_sleep500 this slows the time it takes for PB to scan your PC:)

Whenever I do that it says "wrong syntax"

Hm, I tried that as well and it really didn't do much, I've also noticed that even when I created a local server game it jumps and skips so i'm guessing its probably a hardware issue. But what hardware could it be?
