this isnt an argument about soloing, its rather a statement about your choice to exploit the game to kill your teamates......period....

yesterday i got something worse than redlined. This idiot wanted to fly alone in the havoc on oman, and i said no. He was a low rank (staff sergeant i believe) and he kept trying to get me out. He was spamming "get out," without even giving me a chance, and im a captain. I think most pro pilots will let a captain in. But this guy was a complete retard. he flew around , doing his thing, as if we werent at war with the usmc. He was lining my tv shots WAYYYY below the enemy helicopter, which resulted in our death. whenever we went to do the E battle, he always got it somehow. You surprise yourself when an event like this occurs in a videogame, how much of it can anger you.

I WOULD have rather been redlined in this case.

Alpha, its an issue between a pot and a kettle.

Youre saying its arrogant, bad and selfish to solo. But soloer only affects ONE guy. Yet when a tardnuggety copilot enters the vehicle and thus reduces its efficiency to a mere 0, hes basically buttfvcking 31 of his teammates.

hey buddy, i said clearly that soloing is not the issue, REDLINING is....its exploiting game mechanics to TK someone.....usually because some arrogant asssshole has his head so far up his own *** he forgot how to share, or be toloerant of others, or do something else in the vast game of BF2....

some ppl think that by exploiting the game to kill teamates somehow is ok if they happen to win....FFS pull ur heads out ur assses and get a grip ppl....common sense/common decency

I think redlining and teamkilling is over the top and shouldnt be done, but thats my judgement. Ive done some things myself that make me a prick. I DONT do redlining, HOWEVER I see the other side of the argument, which you apparently dont.

i see the other side of the argument.....i also know for a fact it does not justify exploiting the game to kill a teamate....

its only one person when it happens once.....which is rarely the case....many servers, happening many times per round many days adds up....

31 teamates do not benifit....i dont care what logic u use....or how u cut it....that simply isnt the case.....i would be bored if some soloist was killing everything, leaving me with pretty much nothing to do but baserape their uncaps.....best caase scenerio.....worst is that they dont kill much at all, leaving the 31 of us exactly where we would have been..

ive had rounds like that (not because of some soloist) and it was BORING.....i dont care if we get the win....a boring round is a boring round and of no benifit to me, as i play for FUN

dont pretend redlining helps everyone....thats just silly

anyways.....bottom line is.....redlining is EXPLOITING game mechanics to KILL TEAMATES and that is the very definition of a smacktard.....that is my stance....

i dont care if redlining relieve the stress you suffer in dealing with other ppl in the game, its still wrong....you CANNOT justify it at all....not even by making believe it benifits the rest of the team..
