    Redlining: NO

I thought redlining just meant avoiding gunners/taking off without giving anyone a chance to get in. Then it hit me: red, the colour of out of bounds, and lining, which means edge, which in turn reminded me of my stupidity. I made a post a while back saying i approved of redlining, but i recently discovered how dumb i am and i figured out exactly what it meant. So, my apologies for supporting redlining, its stupid. If you have a gunner already, go into the battlefield regardless of who it is. I do not support it. It's stupid, and when its done to you it sucks. Just to clear things up, i'm fine with soloing, but redlining is one step too far.

*claps* People probably dont remember posts made a week ago here.Only been redlined once but i was a medic so it took the guy awhile to kill me then i spawned in with a M95 shout the pilot and hopped in the driver seat and took off before his freind could become pilot. I then redlined his buddy

Hmm, I always give people one chance. If I line them up for infantry or helos, w/e and they just stare @ the fukker and get us killed; then yea it's redline time.

Does that mean just going out of bounds with/without a crew and missing the entire battle to steal a flag/ or kill team mates to get the vehicle?

One guy, as soon as I jumped into his heli (2-man) told me to get out about 5times before he took off...he then flew out into the water and hovered above it killing me. I have yet to know why he did this as he wouldn't let anyone, no matter what rank, on the team enter any vehicle with him.

Why would someone do that to their team? We lost.

thats cool man.....redlining is gay as hell....and ppl who do it should be BANNED from whatever server they do it on....

ppl who justify this have poor social skills and no sportsmanship....as well as a general lack of consideration and decency.....

their fingers should be chopped at the elbow

You're right, we should just cater to the training of completely new players and sacrifice our desire for a good game. When all they have to do is go to an empty server to practice their flight skills. Rightio, outstanding hypothesis you have there.

Your whole gaming experience is ruined because one time someone who didnt know how to TV got into the chopper with you? You are fragile.

Next time try to get in it without him, or get in the gunner seat. Or heck switch to a different server, or even pick up a gun and fight. Plenty of alternatives to redlining.

are you serious? you automatically jump to the opposite extreme, disregarding any possibility for middleground....narrow minded much?

if you cant have fun without greedily whoring the vehicle to yourself, then dont blame others when you dont have fun.....if you cant stand to offer tips, or helpful advice to newer players, you have no right to feel let down, or complain about lack of skill......if you cant tolerate a newer or inexperienced player in the same heli, perhaps YOU should play singleplayer, or on an empty server...

ppl like this simply lack patience, and are greedy whores.....period

Uhh no man, It happens almost every game now and I'm not being sarcastic. I've been getting owned left and right lately by enemy helos because I'm a lone wolf player and don't have the bf2 buddies I had when I was claning it up. So more often than not I'm flying with strangers. I've even had Lt's, and Majors get in lately that couldn't use the TV missile. It is very frustrating and way too consistent lately. I'm a fu**ing adult and don't get irritated by a single event. So how about you act like one and don't make assumptions w/o facts.

Edit: I decided to bear down and read it. I don't "prefer" as you imply to whore the helo to myself Dr. Jones. I prefer to fly with a gunner who is going to make good of my instilling trust in him. although I'm in it primarily to have a good time, you can't have any fun if you are getting owned by a chopper team with precision when you're gunner can't even fire the TV missile.............ignorance much?

My name! Saffron.3 the guys name was (RUS)Altoc Rulez that was doing it.

And I ACTUALLY learned to fly on a closed LAN game that I did with my buddy on his Lap Top as we got the game around the same time, it helped alot.

I can use the TV (aiming is hard sometimes) but me and a guy did a fly by and I nailed 3 vehicles with the TV before our run ended. Now the chain gun is a different story, I find that to be more on the driver side, as they cannot stay still long enough to even get the crosshair on the enemy or they fly towards the target so you cannot see it in the crosshair as the hull blocks the view and I tend not to waste TV on a troop.

Substitute "one time" with "every single time". There's a reason I avoid flying with unknowns now: I've learned my lesson a long time ago.

You don't need to justify anything, 12o: if they don't understand now, they probably haven't spent enough time flying or gunning with mediocre players, which would be surprising unless they just didn't bother with helis all that often.
