maybe so,but what happens when some one sees a flag go gray, its a rain of nades.

as apposed to when a flag goes white on a vehicle server. Then you get team jet bombs enemy jet bombs and artillery. At least I have a chance of killing the guy throwing nades. Vehicle servers are stat padding for 8 people. Anyone who says the have a chance against jets and choppers on the ground never played on the servers I have against the pilots I played against. You never stood a chance.

used to love IO but got bored quickly. I think i'd have to agree with Dairuka on this one, dodging round vechiles really gets the adrenalin pumping...the only thing i don't like is the constant arty. I play on small maps so if the enemy has a commander you die everytime the arty reloads....very annoying

Point of the post was just to say how good infonly is and my oppinion on it really.

It has it's place if you want to play BF2 differently for a change.

For me, it gets boring fast, because it turns into BattleMedic 2. In many cases, all you see is a mass of dying, and reviving blob of medics coming your way, like zombies in a bad horror movie. It's a nightmare pumping rounds into medic after medic, as they revive each other and are unstoppable.

Pair that with the annoyance of the constant nade spam from supply guy class, I don't see why this mode is all that popular.

I'll go play Counterstrike if I want I/0, at least it doesn't have magic health bags that heal in the middle of combat, and there is a price for dying - waiting until the end of the round.

It is refreshing to not be constantly bombarded by artillery or strafed and bombed by some plane fiend who thinks he's Tom Cruise.
IO is not padding at all, there is a lot of skill involved to prevent yourself from being capped out if you're up against an opposition team of good players. You even need to use tactics, something the armour and plane whores know nothing about sometimes. It is a quick way to get points for promotion and team play comes more into it.

I don't know why people think IO is all medics, there are NEVER any medics AT ALL, all there are is a bunch of useless snipers.
