Infantry Only ftw..

No, not a thread on my first time on infonly.

But after playing enough of it, I can say it owns hands down. I resided in vehicles a lot as it was what I enjoyed most, but damn an Infonly match on Karkand is great. Recently been playing only 24/7 Karkand Inf only. Very great. I don't actually get teamkilled :). On air maps like Gulf etc I get tk'd a hell of a lot more.

For example I changed my gameplay I like playing in Jets but im not one of those noobs who sit in the J-10 every time they play and rape the carrier. Alough I like Wake I don't actually play it as its a teamkilling spawn raping disaster tbh. I reside mostly on Zatar Wetlands and what not for Jet flying. I know its a map that hardly gets played but I try play on it if its got quite a few people there. Can't be bothered with all the teamkillng crap that other maps bring.

So on Gulf the other day I got tk'd extensivly by the same people really who were:

n3mo:p and reka:p

Anyway point is I used to always stay away from Karkand also as that was a disaster but hell since inf only has came on it, its a lot better. In the time I've played Karkand on Infonly, haven't been teamkilled at all. Think the smacktards have kept away from Infonly?

Point of the post was just to say how good infonly is and my oppinion on it really.

Some people like points and stats, some people dont. Some people think pubbing is stupid, and only play in leagues. Some people like vehicles, some dont. its all opinions, and not everyone's opinions on these topics need a new thread tbh.

Hah, not all of them. Well uhm the servers I play on don't really have the nade spamming exageration that you talk about. Most are running round capping flags etc.

IO is fun, but I enjoy vehicles, especially for matches more.

IO any map 16 player > IO in any other form.

Gimme 3 flag kark IO, any small map quick 10min game is fun for IO...I hate big map IO, its just stupidity in its purest forms at sometimes.

IO Oman is pretty sweet to I might add

But I enjoy vehicle maps over any IO to be honest...tho some maps woul dbe a bit more fun if certain changes could be made to them with vehicles on them...say like exchanging the MEC bomber on OMan for another fighter...it would make it a bit more fun

IO is good clean fun, but it's a totally different game, and even with the extended sprint it's a damn long slog from some parts of some maps to others.

I prefer IO on servers that aren't admined very frequently. The local servers here all end up with like 16 people on them at 3AM, but there aren't any Admins around who change the map size. So on non IO there is someone in the APC, Someone in the Tank and someone in the heli, farming the rest of us who can't get into a vehicle.

In IO, well we are all on foot already. . . .

I prefer IO servers because no one has a major advantage over anyone else. A Lieutenant General falls just as easy as anyone else. When i first played i always used to play on vechile servers but they have lost there appeal now...probably because i always got owned by a plane tho...

Also on IO there is a lot less teamkilling because there are no plane/tank/helicopter whores.

i've played my fair share og IO, and now that i want to play with vehicles i cant find a damn server with city maps, that has vehicles in it. and not one that has a good crowd

I enjoy Vehicles quite a lot. I enjoy the feeling of dodging vehicles while as an infantry player.

However, IO Special Forces servers seem to lure some of the best infantry players I've ever gone up against. Many of which were or still are CAL-M clan members. The newbies are essentially fodder, but theres something thrilling about seeking out that one awe inspiring player and killing him over and over and over with your F2000 or AK-101.

No grenades or claymores included. They're not very prevalent on Special Forces servers for some reason.
