they had those AA kits in BFV, and while fun, it really didn't stop the chopper whoring. (probably because it took 3 hits to take down a chopper).

You know, Nicfurious, by your remark, one would swear that you've never picked up social interaction.

Do you really expect that some random guy walking around has a chance against an attack chopper? With or without Stinger missles? Do you want the choppers to be brought down by rifles? With as much armor as a Honda Civic? You're in denial, buddy. Get off your high horse and load up some IO FF Off server.

I'm not denying that there is a vehicular imbalance in the game(to some extent), but use your head dude. There's AA stations and Mobile AA vehicles for a reason. An attack chopper constantly circling an unprotected point(TV Station on Sharqi f.e.), was an oversight by the developers. People who constantly do this, should be shot, IMO.

It's funny how you confuse the game's imbalance with your ignorance, my friend.

Im a ground pounder proto. Even before IO I prefered ground pounding over vehicles. If the stationary aa's worked the way they were supposed to I would not have any issues. Besides, bf2's imbalance goes way beyond choppers and airplanes.

I really cant blame you or others for using choppers seeing its something you truely enjoy. Its just that as a ground pounder (by choice) I have come to realise just how one sided bf2 is. This game was not made for people like my kind, good ole ground pounders.

The sad thing is vanilla is not fun as far as flying goes. You can never get a good gunner, and it is always the newbies that run for it. You even have them TK you just to watch them die within seconds of lifting off. Its to the point I don't even bother to run to the helicopter. Some guy could just be off in the distance playing with his grenades and as soon as the helo spawns he runs for it, regardless of the fact he cannot fly.
