While I do agree, there are as many if not more crappy pilots. Seems when I gun for someone I don't know, they NEVER even remotly set me up for a TV shot. So when we die, I get blamed for not shooting the tv missile. :\

sssseriously, it seems as if all the good gunners have spontaneously combusted. You fly now, and you can't trust your gunner or pilot to do anything right anymore. Its always the newbs that happen to get into the helis, and worse yet there tag-teaming with a newbie too. On very rare occasions, you get someone that knows atleast what there doing flying with you.

Some people have hit 50k mark yet to realize you can guide the tv missiles. I find myself literally screaming at my monitor, until someone tells me to shut up. Lucky i dont have a mic (dont think im a weirdo, im game angry, not real-life angry). Im a captain. This is what i think now, and im no more than an average gunner/pilot.

Now lets go back to when i was a staff sergeant. I was new to this pilot/gunner teamwork stuff, and i was amazed at how well people can fly the helo. I wasn't an idiot, and i quickly found out that you can guide the tv missile. I seemed to dissapoint a lot of people with my gunning/piloting skills, but nonetheless i had fun.

Its times like these we remember whats fun. The more you rank up pubbing, the more this "fun" is taken away from you. When you suck, your having a "blast", if you will. When your a pro, noobs just anger you. Im a well above average rank, my silver gleam stands out in the lineup of bronze ranks. My point is that the game is really less enjoyable the more you rank up. The good gunners arent going anywhere, its just that the more you play the less good these good gunners are.

So i went soloing yesterday, for my first successful time on Dalian. Stupid enemy helicopter pairs didn't even hunt me down. I Came first in that round, and i had a lot of fun. Scored over 20 kills. Im telling you right now, im more help for the team soloing and knowing what im doing then letting a sergeant in and taking pointless unguided shots at helis. So what? Helping the team = your team doesnt get raped. Team doesnt get raped = your team can win. team winning = fun. Fun = the point of this god damn game.

So i wish all you redliners and soloers good luck out there, keep up the good work.

i do play for fun, quite frankly fun doesnt mean screaming at my monitor like a i mentioned before. You need to lighten up, and grab a jet :). And i paid for this game to play it how i like.

I am new to this game, not even past the 3rd rank yet and I find ppl who solo annoying in a game, as for me to wait for a vehicle re-spawn or to walk to my destination makes the game slow(er) in a sense. Just pick us up and we shall try our best to shoot the baddies, we may also be the one who saves your a** later in the game.

I can fly vehicles just fine and as for gunning pointing and clicking isn't the hardest thing to do; however, people who are just starting out need practice to become uber good like you.

when i gun usslay my pilot is more focused on using rockets to destroy things rather then putting me in a position where i can kill some infantry and tanks

ya i dont see why ppl get so impatient and get that big vain in their head throbbing....its only a game....i find that sucky gunners force me to utilize my skill as a pilot alot more, making me better, all the while i can help them become better by offering instructions/tips or advice....

if u wanna solo, u should atleast be squad leader, so if anyone wants to gun for you, they hafta join your squad, allowing you two to communicate better.....im always squad leader when i solo....i only solo when i cannot find a gunner, and yes, as long as i dont die in the process, i look for them....i hang out spammin "get in" "mount up" if ppl are around, i even chase around ppl and look for lonely blue dots out in the middle of nowhere, of course only if it wont get me killed......if not i let them join my squad, spawn on me and work as a team with me....

seriously though, if you dont have the patience to deal with other players who have equal right as you, then you shouldnt be putting yourself in that position, as its your lack of patience that is truly the problem, not their lack of pleasing you......i would suggest you try to develop more patience with ppl....sometimes helping ppl become skilled and effective pilot/gunner team is more fun than winning and killing everything...

i know i feel alot better and have more fun flying a noob around and helping learn how to TV, and get better, than i do when i solo.....even if we end up losing.....

if you NEED the win to have fun, the game would be more about stress and working, than relaxing and having fun

I'm a good gunner, and half-decent with the TV missile, but when the background is the sky, I can't do anything with the TV cause I can't see where it's aiming.

Oh, and lag. If its a laggy or spikey server, the gunning goes to poop.

good pilots: be nice if there was an eject button for your "bad" co-pilots, right?

if you're infantry, stay infantry/karkand&mashtuur

if you wanna learn to take on the skies, TRY IT, practice it, or get someone to teach you...its not that hard.

im on both sides for this issue...

good pilots, if your "pubbing" dont b*tch about your gunners, its everyones game...i used to fly with a friend all the time and made sure of it because we would do good.

bad gunners...dont think your the sh*t because you own with an m95 or a SAW and think you can do the same while gunning in a helo.

I know many players(including myself) who shoot down members of their own team who solo. Childish, yeah probably, but I can so therefore I do..

Tab to bring up the score list for a split second, you can get a better view of where your cursor is.

If you think soloing is "noob" or "retarded", there is something obviusly wrong with you.

When you solo..

1.)In most cases, you're more effective. (no "bad" gunners or pilots)
2.)you have an extra infantry for the ground.

So stop crying that you get TK'd out of the gunner seat, If you suck, you deserve it.
