kinda like how thigs were in JO

you have hte overall class and within that class a choice of weapon, with some crossing over

and withing those kit customizations you should include the EF weapons

      Re: Alternative Kits

      I'd like it.

But I'd be a serious threat then. Imagine someone with the G36C and the M11-87. Unstoppable in close combat and ranged combat.

Or a couple of anti tank missiles with a serious rifle FTW.

Personally I'd drop the pistol as useless, I'd throw away the knife. I'd drop the armour, never noticed it helps.

I'd take a couple of grenades. I'd take an M11-87 and a G36C. Maybe one anti tank missile. Good fun :)

As for switching kits, then you get whatever messed up kit they were playing with.

However I don't see it ever happening. I think it would be a good thing though.

I also support the "you get into a plane/armour and you dont count as that kit any more". you already get your name up in lights for armour/plane kill,s why whouls you also get "sniper" ?

At first I thought it was WGC Shop.

It would mess the whole game up. Although they would have to make it like GRAW for the PC. That way theres a limit to what you can carry.

          It can though.

          That's on a G36K. I've seen one on a G36C, but I can't recall where.

Correction, It's on an H&K 416 I saw, not the G36C. Oh well.

Has ANYONE heard of "Battlefield 2142"?

Duh. And we are saying we'd like a similar thing to be "ported" to BF2.

While I haven't played much 2142, I didn't think it was as customizeable as the OP suggested.
