That is only your opinion and im sorry but DICE dont care .

ATM there's 16,749 people playing BF2 on 5291 servers, while 10,700 are playing 2142 on 2876 servers. Hmmm....

EA, not so much the morons at Dice who would never have made it past the design stage without EA in the first place, are the scourge of the earth. Bringing the pharmaceutical company attitude to gaming, urgh.

Ive posted this before. BF2 has a very large fan base (thanks for the numbers xJOhnx) thats a large number of people with money to spend on future BF2 things, if BF2 gets fixed. Just fixing the existing bugs and maybe trying a little harder to get rid of the cheaters would do the trick.

Speaking for myself, I believe BF2 could last long enough, maintain most of its current player base, to get moved to a greatly improved engine. All they (EA) would have to do is fix a few things. I would be willing to spend money to get BF2 with an improved engine which should include, IMO, better grafix, more options, and faster load times. I dont know if this will happen but I think it would make alot of people happier with the game if it did. I would be happier, I know. . . . . . . . . .Red

That is an opinion and is therefore not correct OR incorrect. What's better - an apple or an orange? Since this is based purely on opinion, it is down to each single customer who decides whether they want a modern of futuristic FPS. Who are you to say your opinion is correct and anyone elses is wrong?

Very poor generalisation. I think you will find a lot of people do like it. Going back to the cliche of 12 year old gamers ruling the internet gaming scene is very silly. The response to this is part of the next answer.

You can't just make up fractions and statistics to suit your opinion. They have to be based on facts. What you say here holds no water. So what if more people play BF2? If you had a single clue of how businesses works you would know that they won't simply drop BF2142. They will pursue it so it doesn't enter a state of product 'decline'. BF2142 is most likely still in the 'growth' stage of its lifecycle, juding by the fact that it continues to sell. EA/DICEs problem with this is the way they badly handled the BF2 release, making people reluctant to buy future games in the Battlefield franchise.

The first part of this is sensible. However, it may not only need 1 more patch. If a new patch is released there will still be people complaining about something - it's impossible to please everyone in such a large market. Again, it's been proven that the J-10 has an unfair advantage, however it is not the be all and end all of Wake.
