Go on a 64 player Karkand with 20-40 players. FF off if you can find it. C4 on flags, 4 scattered around the flag. IF you get a kill with those 4 then charge an infy soldier and throw the 5th. Since you are now out it auto switches to detonater. This allows you to double click and detonate almost instantly.

Meh Expert is a hard one I got it on karkand like all of you doing claymores.

i jihaded for a round to get my expert. people were getting pissed by the end of the round.

Got my expert by "jihad" on Dalian. I really tried not to die in the attack and after a few tries I found the timing getting out of the jeep just in time.
Got 2 of the kills by driving the jeep under a heli refueling :-) *laugh*

I know ppl hate jihading.. but I wanted my badge and I this was one way.. My way.
I have tried claywhoring and putting mines in smart places but ppl are'nt that stupid.

Can you really call it jihading if you don't die in the attack?!

I managed to grab mine of a IO FF Off Karkand Server, doing some C4 fun awesomness defined, got moaned at a few times but it was funny :)

Still haven't got mine, i think i'll try the gaymore square technique as mentioned above. I got Veteran in one attempt but expert has taken me weeks of on and off trying

Yes, I suppose it's time to try for expert soon. I like Bob's use of C4 on flags and running into infantry instead of gaymores everywhere. Jihading would be a fun way to do it too.

Truly that is the more honorable way to do it. I feel bad how I had to use claymores, but I was never quick with the trigger switch. But to me, using claymores to get the expert back when it was 5 claymores, 37 kills, and FF was on, was fine...because if you got a few TKs out of it, it was an autokick.

The palace on Warlord seems to be the place to get expert.. I could only manage vet on Karkand by dropping gay-mores everywhere and I did apologise to the other team because I know it pisses me off when I cant walk more than a few yards without setting one off. Best to find a 32 on 64 map with under 20 players or a server with FF off.

I never really go for badges. I am satisfied to just get them as they come. I have either expert or veteran for everything but I just happened to check out my stats the other day and was disturbed to see I just had a basic explosive (C4, AT Mine, Claymore) badge. (My only basic badge).

I decided to concentrate on getting the veteran badge. I tried everything I could think of for hours and hours with no results. I needed 20 kills in a round and could only muster an average of 15-17 kills with explosives because of the limited supply of ammo. (I should say that I am not in a clan and have no friends that play to resupply me.)

I joined a karkand (infantry only) game and became commander of the MEC. I was a sniper and climbed the building at the square. I dropped supplies on the building and just started spamming claymores. BOOM... Boom Boom BOOM... BOOM... Boom Boom BOOM...BOOM... Boom Boom BOOM...

Within a few minutes I had 25 claymore kills and yes my veterans badge.

If the game would have lasted another 5 minutes or so I could have gotten my expert. I may try this technique again and see if I get lucky. I know if I were playing against a good team, I would have never gotten away with it.

Love the weekends. All the noobs come out and offer up their selves for sacrifice for people to get badges.

Edit.... I should say that as commander, I knew when squads were coming for the flag. I didn't just spam claymores the whole game. lol

That's what I call TeamPlay... been a commander, dropping suplys only for you and not command at all cause you are worried about getting a stupid badge... Damn I miss BF1942.

Yeah, I got my vet on Karkand a year ago and I apologized as well. It was a lame thing to do. I apologize anytime that I whore something.

You need a global 300 explosives to get expert...I remember when it took 1000 you newbies have it easy now...But anywho we have clan and two ranked servers if you want to join up...

C4 tossing also existed back then so it was 100 times easier to get explosive kills nublet.
