Yeah, that's also one of the advantages of the DAO-12 over the Saiga (the others being larger magazine capacity and larger total ammo load). Personally, I love the DAO-12; when I try to use the pump guns I always get killed waiting for it to cycle. Can't fight more than one person at a time. Benelli M4 is probably my second favorite shotgun.

Actually not everyone knows it, mainly because not everyone uses all the kits all the time. I also use it for the pump guns, but not all the time. I'd prefer to run away somewhere safe, and reload the whole tube.

The pump guns do cycle idiotically slowly. Especially idiotically slowly because the M11-87 is infact a semi auto shotgun IRL. IRL using a Remington 870 I can have fired three shots before the spent case from the first round has hit the ground, but in BF2 you've got to wait 20min to cycle the pump.

The trick is to not stop moving. IIRC the shotgun sufferes from the least, after the pistol, penalty for moving, so it's the ultimate gun and run weapon.

I often go up against multiple badguys with the M11-87 and win. Of course I also quite often go up against single or multiple badguys and get blown away completely as well. Maybe it's lag or something but some days the shotguns work better than others.

only good thing about the DAO is it comes with an AT rocket.

I would take the m11-87 over the DAO any day!! But my perferred shotty is the Jackhammer. I love that puppy in close range. Reload time sucks but it really shoots up the joint and does a good bit of damage when your toe to toe.
