    M11-87 or DAO

    i like the m11-87 and have little experience with the DAO(used it twice neither time for more than 30 sec no kills or even combat with it) the m11-87 is powerful and is the cqc equal to the j10 with an aimbot but during those precious moments where its reloading between shots feels like forever when guys with smgs are firing, those are excellent in cqc, the dao may have a forever reload time but if that happens ill just run away from the front and reload.

    i was going to go jackhammer for the mp7 as my next unlock pair but i was thinking about going dao p90 just to replace the m11-87.

          I personally don't care for the DAO. It's range is crap, and you have to empty at least three shells into someone to kill them, and that's at close range.

          Go for the MK3, slightly more damage per pellet than the Striker (DAO), plus full auto capability.

              Kills with the M11-87 are much more satisfying to me than the DAO, but MK3 FTW

                  lol, there are 2 weapons that I absolutely hate it when I get killed by them. The m11-87 and the SVD. For the life of me I don't know why, I just do.

                                  M11-87 is by far the best shotgun in vanilla bf2 (best in game is the benelli).

                                  DAO is **** imo.. It seems like I can unload into someone and they get no damage..

                                  Where if you have the pump, you can bum-rush a whole group of enemies and come up behind them and wipe out like 15 people in a row... that seems like the only gun where I can go into a base full of people, and be the only one, and kill every ****er there, and survive.. then again that's if i'm lucky and the shots are registering.

                                  BTW.. the thing to always remember with the shotty, hitbox models lag behind the character, so always aim at the back of them..

                                  In other words, do the opposite of leading. Lets say they are facing you, and they are strafing left (moving right on your screen from your perspective). In this scenario, ALWAYS aim for their right shoulder.. get it? Aim slightly behind where you would normally aim.. trust me... if you lead them, you will see smoke puffs, but if you do this, it will look like it's flying past, but the shots will register.

                                      Yes, I forgot to add as metal stated (twice lol) that the Benelli is an awesome weapon at close range and I personally use it alot. Ofcourse you need euro forces to use it.

                                                  The pump shotgun is great. Both USMC and PAC sides. I've played with the engineer class the most. And play with the stock shotgun the most. It's just my preferable weapon. It's not a long range weapon in anyway. Where the pistol comes in handy. As accurate as a sniper rifle (OK, slight exaggeration, but you get the point) with several shots will take anyone. Far enough away, they will not hear the fires either.

                                                  THe unlocks for the engineer class suck. I'm sorry if someone likes them, but they just aren't any good. The jackhammer is ALMOST good. I wish it had a few more rounds. But to make it worthwhile you have to shoot several rounds at a time. Which doesn't leave you much for a second person. Withe the pumo shotty. I've managed to go on a kill streak around a flag. One shot kills to everyone. It's the greatest feeling in the world.
