I guess it comes down to "An Inconvenient Truth":

Our accounts are property of EA.

Yes, the accounts are property of EA. But what does it matter? Accounts are just database entries with a specified amount of points. The only thing that would make them "worth" anything would be that the account buying and selling would increase alot in a short amount of time. Then you could actually sell your profile and gain money for it.

unfortunately, to many that play bf2, their stats carry a lot of sentimental value.

Just start a new one. Is EA going to give a ****, considering how many people make TK accounts, statpad accounts, glitchers, etc?
