I just did it twice in 2 OCS rounds this morning. I was soloing the Mi-28, and shot down the F-15 bomber... The guy was like WTF?

Then I shot down the F-18... If I were using my computer I could upload some screenies

The first time ever... I was in Zatar and I caught the Mig-29 from behind after a quite long chase. That was long long time ago when the TV range was around the 600's m

Twice

One time I soloed a guy as he came at me dead on. Once I shot one down as he was doing a loop with one of my old clan members as my pilot. He lined me up great!

Im a helo pilot on dalian plant on chinese. a f35 tries a low speed pass at us but misses. i scream in vent to my brother who is in my gunner chair and he throws out a pot shot.

we could see the j35 try a steap dive with hard bank to get speed with full afterburners but all for not as we got one right up his tail pipe...

we did it like 2 weeks ago and have not been able to do it again.

btw only got TVd in a jet twice but it was by my friends both times

following the jst with a tv missile or getting a head on shot is easy but making that missile meet the jet while the jet is flying in front of you is a little harded, I did that once and it was when I first started TVing, i guess I was lucky

You either

A) Need a good pilot

or

B) Need to be soloing and wait until the jet is coming at you, put your back to him, wait until he is about 10 feet in front of you, then fire. Works every time.

Once. I dont fly in choppers or planes much. I have Eryxed a jet 4 times though...

The last time I got called a hacker

"WTF! How could you do that when I was going 250000 miles an hour!"

I said "Lots of practice"

He said "BS, Hacker!"

I said "You're the 4th time... I had to take 500 shots to get those 4 kills though"

Never been TVed while I was in a jet.

I think TVing jets coming straight for you is the easiest, I like following them with the TV or guiding the TV so they hit it.

I TV'ing randomly when my pilot tried one on one with a jet to another jet and he goes "hey! wtf! u stole my kill!"

You know something funny...

I was on kubra the other night on USMC.

I got into the cobra and tried to take off, but some idiot got into the chopper (I know this because in the last round, he had taken off, and crashed into the ground not 10 seconds after). So...

I spammed "Get out!" and I did a circle of death about an inch off the ground. I did this for about a minute, and then someone else (who was waiting for the F-18, because he already crashed his first one), said "xmetal how are you flying like that" "the only person ive seen fly like that was a hacker so you must be a hacker too"... and I was just laughing the whole time.. It's probably the most common and useful move in the chopper and now people are calling other people hackers not only for the slightly above average K/D, but they are calling hacks for pilots in jets/choppers because they've never seen the manuever before.. I mean WTF...

I swear.. more and more walmarts must be putting BF2 on the clearance rack so earl and billy-bob can practice hunting... lmao

Yeah that actually happens all the time.

Same with choppers, because the bullets actually travel through the glass.. which is why you want to hit the cockpit because you get X2 damage (going in and going out).

well i guess it really doesnt sound that hard, you just got to give it a shot. I guess theres people that dont try it and people who do- and get the kill like metalguitarist. btw whats the circle of death?

I can see how that would work. Only problem is when a jet is coming right at me he's painting me and shooting at me. So turning my 6 to him might not be the brightest idea.

You don't just "spin"

Let's say, you tilt to your left (roll 45 degrees), lean back, spin right (z axis)...

You know.. don't just "turn".

You get out of his lock/cannon fire, and when he goes under/above you you already have the shot lined up. Works every time, unless it is a good pilot, which is rare, because you will be dead before you knew what happened.. Kind of like how I kill choppers, sometimes I sniped them out before I even kill the thing.. lol
