There is a for sure, 100 percent proven way to kill a tank in one shot. I am going to use a real Abrams tank to illustrate the area where you must hit it, but its the same thing for T90 and the chinese tank. I know for a fact, that emplaced TOW missiles and tank shells will kill another tank in one shot if you hit it in this exact area. I cant say the same for AT missiles, I haven't tried it.

You wrong Greg. It was working but this shot is very difficult to do.
I did this multiple times when testing and in pubs but it is so low percentage shot that I only try it when I'm close and when other tank is not moving.
You can't do it with AT missiles or APC. Only tank to tank.
Over year ago I started post about this and there were picks and links to videos showing were to aim. On many ocassions when you try it you will give other tank 75 % damage. Place to AIM is on left side on the tank front plate above the track just under turret. You have to be directly in front of other tank or it will not work.
If you don't believe me you can jump with me to some empty server and I will show you.

Also you can take down APC with 50 cal mounted on fast movers by shooting base of the cannon. Not to many people know that as well. LOL
I think it only works on LAV or BTR

we had dozens of us try for hours and had no luck

I just got the 50 cal --> apc working.

It takes about 5-10 seconds to take out an apc with the .50 cal.


Give me your xfire or something and i'll show you both.. I don't have much experience with either, but I know how to do both of them.

we hit tanks there ALL the time
and never got a kill in 1 shot
NEVER (unless some damage already there)
we have tested this over and over in our server
hmmm
maybe not since the last 2 patches
will retest

The M1A2 has about 3 different spots to 1 shot it. the T-90 has only 1 spot, and the CHina tank has 2. You can also get a 1 shot with the APC tow onto a tank, its really hard and isnt worth the time.

we hit tanks there ALL the time
and never got a kill in 1 shot
NEVER (unless some damage already there)
we have tested this over and over in our server

OMG u noobs, GOD. If u shoot the Mounted TWO at the front of the treds, Or the *** of the tank. it killes it with 1 shot.

BTW MetallicaG what APC did you test 50 cal on? I don't remember what I was testing this on but I remember that it did not work on one of them.

BTW TOW is EZ so you are not discovering America here Nefarious.

You can also take out a tank with one TOW shot to the tracks.

You sure about that? I've hit APCs with one shot on their tires, but even then they don't blow up immediatley.
