I've done it once with another tank, it's a real ***** to aim it just rightly so it bounces.

Can anyone pull it off everytime?

Yes its possible.....the shell ricochets off the body and into the turret tricking the engine into believing it is 2 separate hits. There used to be a video of it on www.secretsofbattlefield.com but i cant find it now

Very helpful. I can usually get one shot off, but the second takes so long to reload that the tank either finds me or is already gone.

2 good shots in the right spot

No, I've definitely done the ricochet trick once, and it took it out in one hit.

Not an AT rocket but a tank shell can do that. Need to aim it precisely at a certain bit of the body for it to richochet onto the turret.

You can also take out a tank with one TOW shot to the tracks.

I have shot a tank to pieces in one shot, by hitting it in the front between the body and the turret. But only once, and it was on an empty server, were I did some practice shooting.

You wrong Greg. It was working but this shot is very difficult to do.
I did this multiple times when testing and in pubs but it is so low percentage shot that I only try it when I'm close and when other tank is not moving.
You can't do it with AT missiles or APC. Only tank to tank.
Over year ago I started post about this and there were picks and links to videos showing were to aim. On many ocassions when you try it you will give other tank 75 % damage. Place to AIM is on left side on the tank front plate above the track just under turret. You have to be directly in front of other tank or it will not work.
If you don't believe me you can jump with me to some empty server and I will show you.

Also you can take down APC with 50 cal mounted on fast movers by shooting base of the cannon. Not to many people know that as well. LOL
I think it only works on LAV or BTR

yeah, the ricochet definitely does work. go into an empty server and put an apc behind the tank and shoot right at the top of front of the tank. the apc WILL get damaged.
