well.. I really hate all pilots flying anything else than the F-35B as it is the weakest plane. When you can fly the F-35 you can fly all jets, and then you know that you're a good pilot.

What I do to escape from a J-10, which works every time, I wait until they got a clear lock, then flare, full barrel roll, then do a big circle with afterburner two times, pull up making a half loop, half barrel, use the rest of the afterburner and keep on going high as the only two anvantages you have in the F-35 is height and speed. This all have to be done very quick.

I still recommend not flying lower than 300ft, except when you dive for bombing a target. And though this might work, it is a good idea not to fly around like an idiot thinking that you are the master and attracting to many J-10s :). Instead; fly high and then engage your enemies and especially the J-10s.

I usually try to take the side with the inferior planes whenever possible - you learn much more from flying against a superior jet, and there aren't as many whores fighting over them Flying a J-10 too often can make you stop thinking and just resorting to out-turning everyone instead of paying attention and analyzing the opponent.

All the jets have their nuances and are slightly different, so saying that when you can fly the F-35 you can fly them all isn't entirely accurate. However, I think it's fair to say that if you can be successful in an F-35 you can be great in any jet, once you learn their differences and such.

lol.. thats right but who is most skillful/best pilot: a F-35B pilot on 1st place on the aviators-list, or a J-10 pilot on 1st place on aviators-list?

I know that a J-10 pilot can be good, but to convince me he has to show that he can fly the F-35B. :)

one thing to say to you man, if youre using a jet just TO GET TO A FLAG? Thats a waste of a valuable asset, and If you let the right person use it you could easily get rid of the j-10.....If you want to get to a flag fast then take a chopper, its easy enough to avoid a j-10 in a blackhawk(for me anyways)
or, suicide and spawn there lol

Actually you are wrong. Nothing is more valuable that taking out enemy airforce for good. We often play so, that our squad leader rush to take a jet. Then he makes a stratorun straight to the enemy airfield jumps out and the rest of the team spawn on him. Then we take the flag and defend it. I think that even our jetpilots don't mind, if we lend that plane for a moment. This works really well for example in Dragon Valley.

oh my god it's like everyone in here bought BF2 yesterday or something.

Yes, those are jet drops.. but don't do them in pub servers, becuase you will look like a retard.

We use that every time we play an airmap.

You get 1 squad member to get into a jet, with lets say, 3 other squad members on him.

The SL flies over to the flag and bails, the 3 guys spawn on him. Those 3 guys leave and create their own squad, having their whole squad spawn on them.. it's called spawn bombing.. Using that tactic you can get your whole team to an enemy flag instantly.



That thing with the flares, that is common sense.. why even post it. F-35B can beat ****ty J-10 pilots to mediocre pilots, but if you get someone that actually knows what they're doing in a J-10, it doesn't matter. There is no way you will win.

You can get away from J-10's easily, and there is a formula to it, but the catch is, it only works ONE time every minute or so. You need full (or 80%+) afterburners and you need flares. After that, i'll let you use your imagination, because I have been giving too many of my tricks away, now people are using my own **** against me..

i see what you mean with your tricks metallica.. and its right with the afterburners and flares and evading, but there isnt exactly a formula for escaping from a J-10. As you say: use your imagination. what I wrote is not exactly what I do every time. But i am still a very big admirer of you metallica :).

actually i havent.. and the reason why i have an F-35B is because i love them and because i am a big hater of the J-10s and because i only fly the F-35 and because i like to fly. thats why :)

Yeah, I do same when I am forced to fly in F35..
about the supreme skills of pilots on either side jets.. bombing techics in different jets are different.. if you are accustomed of bombing from F35 you do much worse when you bomb with J10.. I do most of my kills trough bombing and killing helis (slow down bombing sights on and just fire from cannon for 4-5 seconds- helis gives double kills and are fun to shoot at)

I regret I am not clanmember of some clan, would use same tactics for captureing enemy airfield in Wake as ACE_FIN1972

I have noticed that sometimes in Dragon USMC tries to take over Chinese airfield ASAP but its relatively easy to protect.. Even if US troops are under flag or in open room behind the flag you can easily bomb them into hell.. even bombing tank hiding himself in building is quite easy..

If the guy behind you isn't a moron, he'll wait till you crash down or till the flares get out of his screen... And the space shuttle mission doesn't work either. There was some long thread about it not long ago.

about the supreme skills of pilots on either side jets.. bombing techics in different jets are different.. if you are accustomed of bombing from F35 you do much worse when you bomb with J10.. I do most of my kills trough bombing and killing helis (slow down bombing sights on and just fire from cannon for 4-5 seconds- helis gives double kills and are fun to shoot at)

Well I also like to shoot helis down but why slow down the plane?
I know about the bombing but I just try to say: overall stats of the plane then the F-35 is the weakest.
And why force yourself to fly the F-35?

Because I use high sensitivity settings (keyb,mouse) and slowing down gives me time to focus and aim better before starting shooting..If helipilot starts doing tricks, I have time to wait for flares go away and just fire AA-missiles.. Id like to kill heli on first attack though its not made easy most times
On USMC side are usually available F35-s..at least on maps I play the most.. I honestly SUCK on attackhelis and jet is thereby either superfast taxi or vehicle I fight in all round.In other cases I rather walk/run as assault.Dont care much about helicopters (except blackhawk for flagcapping in Mashtuur)..

Im playing most times on USMC side so flying is quite hard and killratios not the best ones.. but its challenge :)

yeah ive seen pilots do this, they deploy flares at a great hight, to get out of lock, then fly back down through the flares
