ty for reply but i've already tried both of those and they didn't work. I may try once more and see if the patch will overwrite it, if not i'll have to do a fresh re-install....i just hope SF is worth it lol

when you re-install, copy your profiles directory from "/my documents/bf2/" to a safe place. then after you install bf2, install SF, then patch to 1.41, copy that profiles directory back and you wont lose any settings or accounts. make sure you know your account passwords because you will need to re-enter your correct password.
