for medic i'll switch between the L8 vs. the stock weapon depending on how i expect to be fighting
L8 is great for sighting & sniping... so i'll use it when i'm alone, defending a base or running around in the hills or on a roof.
The stock weapon is better (more accurate) for up-close combat... i'll choose it when i'm in a squad or assaulting a flag.
the problem i have with the l8 is the deviation gets so big so fast, and takes a while to shrink... so even if you get the drop on a guy, it's hard to kill him in just a few shots. quite often i'll unload a whole clip on someone and then he finally kills me as i'm reloading.
Whereas the stocker is good cuz if you get 2 solid bursts (6 bullets) on an enemy (especially if they're aiming for the head), they're probably dead.
