Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Sloi was definately not the first solo'er... he probably started doing it after seeing videos too.
BTW.. warchild.87 could be alot more effective if he had a little more angle in the COD... I find for solo-chaingunning you need about a 35-40 degree angle (sometimes 45 or 50 if the area is tight) and you can get 3/4 of a spin before you have to switch back and set yourself up again.
Actually, I was sure that everyone already knew about it by the time I viewed Redux Duck N cover (it may have been another soloing vid, not sure): if you check my heli guide, it's completely based around the idea of a pilot AND gunner. After seeing that video, everything changed...
You're overestimating the value of the COD: if the heli takes out the enemy armor (both air and ground) and you still can't handle infantry on the ground without a chopper holding your hand through it all, you need some serious IO training.
Oh, and just so you know... your heli team better be very good at playing range games, because otherwise, any good soloer will dispose of them in short time. Two people aren't automatically better, but it does increase the likelyhood that they'll be able to stay out of range while shooting their own TV missiles at the same time.
Also there is many miscommunication between the gunner/pilot, so things can mess up more easier than one person.
Exactly why soloing is the best anti-armor.
1 person can think to himself and pick which targets to take out and when.. etc..
in a 2 person team, they have to say "there's armor ______________" ... etc.. there is communication and that is a delay that will make a difference.
Someone soloing can think faster and react faster because there is no communication, because there is only one person..
You guys don't like soloing because "you should share".. etc etc..
Everyone here that is pro-soloing, most of the time plays in a competitive environment. One more person out of the chopper, that is just more you can do on the ground while letting the chopper do it's thing.
The ONLY place a good solo'er will lack in, is the infantry killing.
A very good soloer will be about equal to a decent chopper team as far as killing infantry. But if you have a good team, they will eat infantry for breakfast.. On the other hand, an "ok" soloer will take out more armor than an "ok" chopper team.

Or.......you can fly with a gunner's mindset. You guys need to think outside the box. You can have a pilot and a gunner operating the Helo; or you can have 2 gunners operating the helo. 'Tis simple, between the crosshair and gunner's view for land vehicles and aircraft. Circle of death for infantry.
