Can't they go read a book? Like the Da Vinci Code.

I'm fourteen years old, I understand where you're coming from. I read that 65%
of U.S. kids ages 10-16 do not read. This will severly impact my and my generation in the years that follow.

        Re: Adults Didn't Do This...

I don't have a problem with younger players, because I haunt only regular clan servers that I know are well administrated.

What disturbs me is the nearly opposite effect anonimity has on younger people.

As an adult of 43 , I look at anonymity on the internet as something of a "low blow" when taken advantage of for personal gain. It's a cheap shot to do something nasty to another player simply because you can get away with it, with little to no chance of reprisal.

I try to be on my best behavior rather then my worst.

Younger kids look at is as their chance to get their shots in because there's nothing to worry about. That's just a lack of experience in life and a lack of character that they haven't developed yet.

They're like the boss that can be a **** just because he's the boss. Doesn't prove anything, anyone who's a boss can be a ****. It takes a lot more character to be in a position to kick some one when they're down, yet not do it.

          Afghanistan, of course.

Why is it so hard that young children are having fun teamkilling, it's their life and fun. And btw, children have life and they are our future.
Well THERE goes Social Security for REAL, the thought of TKiller crazed 12 yr olds running the country when im senile makes me shiver in helpless fear, No wonder elder folk have 'unfounded' fears....

makes me wish BF2 was rated M and parents actually knew there was a rating system.

He joined my squad and was like "you're a total ****ing noob, you ****ing suck at jets (mind you this was a colonel who was going maybe 2:1 with it) and life get the **** out of here ***." I wouldn't have been surprised if the voice was cracking every other word, or was rather high pitched, but no this sounded like a disgruntled 30 year old.

Cmon I'd say 15+ year olds have learnt not to tk (Well I know I dont). However I know how you feel from the stressy 30 yr old point of veiw. Once I accidentally badly landed a chopper (clipping a warehouse with the tail), and after typing "lol" (it was actually quite amusing) I hear this guy saying something along the lines of "you stupid idiot, you think your so big, go get a life you ****ing internet tw@t."

                  lolinternets.

Yeah I mean I'm 15 and I try to be on good behavior. I'm not going to lie, I block jets and TK for vehicles on occasion. But I try to refrain from doing it, because it's immature and really, you're a ****ing loser if you constantly ruin other people's game experience because you want a god-damned JPEG medal. Nobody is going to hire you because you're good at a video game. Put "leet BF2 playur" on your resume and you'll get the position of Head Microwave Operator at McDonald's.

guys, dont be unrealistic, what we need is not some sort of system to prevent the kids from playing( ea would NEEEVER allow losing costumer) what we need is something to prevent ppl from tking, lets say 5 tk gets ur account temporarely banned from Ranked servers for a 2 weeks.

Your being unrealistic:laugh: As you practically said youself, EA would never do anything that would lose them money.

Calm down everyone, the youth of today isn't leading us into oblivion. We have a few younguns in our clan and they're nice kids, if they wern't we'd hoof them out. I played games as a kid and it didn't do me any harm. Christ, I've even had girlfriends and a brilliant social life as a teenager.

Well, I say girlfriends. Their Quake3 names were pink.

I wish there was some system that prevented children under a certain IQ to join. This *EXCLUDES* 14 and above to be safe. If you don't have a high enough IQ as a child, go do something educational (I have cable, and when I'm not flying PMDG's 747 in Flight Simulator or sharpening my sniper aim in BF2, I am watching, either, the History channel, Discovery channel or NatGeo. No Animal Planet though. I don't like Animal Planet.) and come back when you are smarter. Works both ways. Customer - EA. Customer: No smacktarding kids. EA: the game has been purchased, and they have their money.

N.B: I have NOTHING against 13+ children playing.
