It's cool to watch, but doesn't affect BF2.

It's fairly applicable in bf2... the ak has better close range qualities but the m16 will out-snipe it anyday... just give me my l85 though :)

You can throw an AK in a lake/river for 2 weeks and when you take it out it will work as if it's brand new.

most should

but what you have to be careful about is water inside the barrel


fluid dynamics 101
liquids cant be compressed like gases
if theres water in the barrel when fired you could cause certain parts of the gun to explode in your face (explosions + face = ouch)

Some do but nothing compares to the durability of the AK-47.

It was clearly on display during Vietnam, the M16A1 (especially older versions) would jam on just a hint of mud/dust while a rusty AK would fire on time, every time.

Idk about IRL, but in the game, AK47 is probably the best gun.

AK47-->L85A1-->FAMAS

I saw a vid somewhere about the AK's reliability... they ran over it with a hummer, filled it with sand, and did all kinds of stuff to it...every time it would come out working like new.
