I read some where that each jet has their own con and pros. can someone post all of them?

we get like 3 of these a day please search for them or atleast read the first page before posting threads.

F35 is good for high altitude but will get slaughtered if caught in a dog fight with the j-10. other then that I find them all to be equal on every level besides manuveribility and missle evasion in which case the j-10 wins by far.

if your new and want to fly the J-10 is like traning wheels you will very rarley go up against some one who can shoot you down while in one. but you also should get good at flying above 500 feet so if your not in a j-10 you can drop in from above.

im useless with jets...i do ok in dogfights, but for the life of me i cant figure out how to bomb...that shuld be done easyer in my opinion....i like choppers more

but on the other hand, im a grunt, i put my boots on the ground and up the MEC's ***

Well, pro's and con's are totally objective, depending on the jet you prefer. My opinions:

F-35: Seemingly MASSIVE hitbox. The only way to make a missile deflect is to go over mach 2 (2000 km/h) and turn HARD. If you flared out and still see a missile on your tail, just jump out or bite the bullet and take the death. Go high (850) and apply afterburners for a quick escape if a j10 is giving you hell. Machine guns are deathly accurate and seem to do lots of damage (might be a higher rate of fire). A worthy opponent to a Mig, but usually fodder for a J-10.

J-10: Sadly, it's the king of the sky. LOTS of room for pilot error (except when bombing) and even if the missile lock tone is off, you can dumbfire missiles and almost always hit the target. Handles like a big fat turd, though. It banks (turns) well, but can't roll for jack. Seemingly tiny hitbox on the rear and a quarter roll will make almost all missiles deflect. Only 3 ways to take it down; jet machine gun, missiles from 20 feet away from the tail (RIGHT on the jet's a$$), or pure dumb luck. (A note to ALL J-10 pilots - STOP WITH THE MISSILE SPAM! Fire 2 missiles and BREAK OFF! Anything else and you're just wasting ammo/showing off your "skills".)

MIG-29: A nice mix between the F-35 and J-10. Can roll decently fast, and turns very well, and also has a semi-normal hitbox. As long as it isn't in a afterburner loop, you can pretty much hit it with missiles if you have a lock. The flares aren't as effective as the F-35's, as missiles will usually go right through them and smack the tail (pilot error usually, going straight and flaring is useless and that's what I see out of Mig pilots a lot). The best dogfights I've been in were F-35 vs. Mig-29 over on 24/7 Oman.

F-18: A formidable opponent for just about any jet. Can't bank as tight as the J-10, but will stay on a Mig with ease. I notice that F-18's missiles seem to hit the J-10 more often than the F-35. I don't use this jet much since I don't really like many of the air maps. Can't see a thing on dragon, kubra, dhalian, and no servers ever run clean sweep...

I don't really fly the bombers that much, although I really love the F-15. It seems like a fighter, even though I've been raped quite quickly by a Mig-29 at LONG distance. The Su-34 is a close second, and the chinese jet is just plain junk (IMO).


Oh yeah, and if you're gonna start being a "pilot", please get a stick. It takes an hour or 2 to get used to (start a LAN game on a midday clear sky air map like oman or wake and fly until it feels normal...little tip, set spawn time to 1 or 0), but once you get used to it, it's totally worth it.

i take it you dont know how to get the su34 to dodge missiles like an f18 does then amatuers :laugh:
