You don't need any skill to evade a J10, but you need a ****load of skill, or a ****load of luck to bring one down.


Do you know where the J10 belongs? On the ground. If for any reason there's one that you haven't managed to blow into smithereens, in the air, wait for him to do a bombing run, then sneak about 5-10 in-game metres and launch all your rockets on his ***, before he can pop flares.


They're easy to down if they're in front of you flying in a straight line. If they turn even the slightest, don't count on getting the kill, in fact, I'd say it's time for YOU to run.


Oh yes, and bomb mode and the 5 or so camera views are your friend. If you see bullet tracers whizzing past you, it's time for a space shuttle mission.

About two days ago on a Dalian Server, I took 3 down in one round, kept in Bombing mode right up there arse, then switched over waited for the flares to go then unleashed all 6 missiles on it. Worked every time.

I even got a well done from the pilots.

Got the game last week.

that about sums it up. at first everyone says we are just whining but after a month you will see that its clearly overpowered to the F35. Their are some good F35 pilots like metalic guitarist but hes got alot of experience in the F35 im guessing at least a 100 hours

A j-10 can evade missile very easily simply pull up sharp or turn very sharp. If im in a j-10 and i hear the beep to say theres something on my six, 9 times out of ten ill hit look behind and then evade all his missiles without evening thinking about it.

The f-35 on the other hand if something locked on you, it means u have a split second to do something very skillful or every single missile shot at you is going to hit flares or no flares..your going down.

Everyone who flys quite a lot will tell you its almost cheap to fly a j-10 its the quickest the best turning as missiles that hit everything, but seems like its as a deflector shield on its *** that anti air just bounces off.

The other jets its a accomplishment when you win a dogfight.
Stay high use bomb mode and cannons is the key for me. thats the only way your going to beat a good pilot in the GODLIKE j-10.

Totally agree, unless i have a very big advantage like hes coasting and im diving in on his six or have stalked a j-10 in free cam and i think this could be a good chance to have him.. I run "i run for my life" praying he hasn't seen me. If he as and it turns into a dogfight chances are your fire off every missile miss he then turn sharp and nail your ***..

Imo you should never engaged a j-10 unless you no u can hit him and run without him knowing u were even there. cause if u miss theres a god chance hes going to get a lock on you and take u down.

I recommend you go play some wake.. you should see the j-10 in all its glory then that or Dalian were the j-10 as even more of an advantage.:evil:

For all of you guys that said follow the J10 at Bomb mode... Every time I bomb I automatically look back, too see where I hit, I guess all of the pilots do this, so I'll obviously see any jet behind me.

J10 is the biggest unbalance in the game, I don't have enough flying hours though I like flying, i'm pretty bad at it and I fly the J10 the most.
I don't think a F35 took me down even once, honestly. I can just fly straight and the missiles will miss, turn at the last second like they're afraid from me.

And for shooting down ppl... Just lock on them, wait them to luanch the flares, wait a bit so the flares won't be in your view, follow the jet until he's kinda in the middle of your screen and shoot 2 missiles.
Enjoy watching your enemy explodes.

P.S. most pilots aren't smart enough to bail out when their jet is on fire, they just wait there and die. I don't get it. Maybe they prefer dying then holding a gun ><

Erm yeh, those ******* WILL leave you alone if they run out of missles, simple as, so many times I've had a J10 behind ran out of missles they fallow you for few seconds trying to gun you down with a MG but always give up and go back to the airfield to get more missles. That's how sh!t the J10 pilots are. Cuz it's extremely easy to gun an F35B down with MG only too, *******. That's all I have to say.

With the J-10 i last the whole round 9-10 times with it, wihtout being shot down or crashing into something stupid. The only thing that gets me is the essex sometimes. Seems like they fized the aa on it in 1.41 I can outrun 7of8 missles but one seems to tag me now.. TO TELL you how evasive the j-10 is, I am on wake. I have A BOMB RUN onto carrier. I get the beep and turn and their is an f35 on me, two essex, I pass island and there is a guy on aa as well..I dunno wtf i did but I only suffered half dammage..I was watching in rear camera mode and saw at least 15 missles come at me all of which i ducked right before they hit me// THe ground aa got me on one. I think they are better now.

i think it's a matter of the player not wanting to eject so he can die with the jet. that way he knows when it will spawn again. most people just won't be waiting on the jet unless it's a packed server.
