We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Hacking has NOT been going up, but the amount of babies screaming "hacks" has. Most likely, you will find one aimbotter/wallhacker every 300 hours AT MOST, If you play on bigger, more popular pubs.

This post is not directed at {AWOL}Didge, sry just needed to vent, got some harrasment last night on 2 different servers and let it ruin a few of my games.

The guy that got caught in our clan was a long standing member who we foolishly trusted and was regularly screenshot. We PB stream our server 24/7 and yet it took someone else to find him :|:
Ive found alot of times people will call out a hacker if they are under enemy UAV and wonder why you knwo were there at.
Like last night I was just trailing people behind buildings wiht my turret by keeping them center with my "view triangle thing". I also was nailing them from an amazing distance since I could see were they were on the map (like on top a building or next to etc..)
the worst are the the guys from 187ci
they BLATENTLY brag about it, seen them on servers soooo many times, they spam messages like "you been hacked by 187ci.com" they are also the guys who like to go into a server, totally own everyone on it and when people start questioning their shots they crash the server by spamming supply crates and cartillery everywhere
Now i maybe getting paranoid but i think not, i play a lot of infantry only and recently more and more i have been been headshot from distance while running and yes bunnyhopping:p to try and avoid getting hit.
Well no wonder you were shot, if you're being shot at by a sniper just run towards cover, hopping gives us almost a whole second to evaluate where you'll be when you land and where you'll run, making it 24389762062 times easier to shoot your face. You have to remember most snipers are going to be 100m+ away making hopping useless. The only time I can think of where hopping might save you against a skilled sniper and you only have an idea of where he is, is if he's be the suburb flag on Kark, on he ridge and you're down by the square. Shooting peopel hopping while you're elevated is SO HARD! But other than that, and them being 10m away, just run for cover.
ive never been called a hacker and i love snipeing.
ive been getting some nice long distance one shot kills some of it is skill but lots of lucky shots
ive seen on some servers people getting called hackers hackers should be banned and named and shamed.
but its a shame when people are being accused of being a hacker when they are just skilled players
The game is full of Hackers. Anyone who says other wise must have thier head buried in the sand. If you dont believe me try playing on some of the popular servers about the time school gets out in the afternoon.
The worst one that I have seen lately was a guy I chased down and emptied the clip from a jackhammer on him, at a distance of about 5 or so meters, and all he did was turn around and killed me with 2 shots from his pistol.
As for how many people hack or cheat, I cant tell you but I usually see one or two about every hour I play. To many for my likeing, I can tell you that for sure. . . . . . . . .Red
As most of you know a clan member of ours was caught using a sniper hack recently and expelled from the clan. We have checked his PB screenshots and nothing shows up, however he was definately hacking, the only way he was caught was by looking at the BR recorder

A lot more people seem to be playing sniper recently and racking up huge scores. I'm guessing there is a new hack for snipers undetectable by PB anyone else suspicious?

I highly recommend ban happy servers. Most servers I currently play on have admin that consider anyone with less than 5000 points to be on probation. Typically as soon as such a player enters the server an admin will go watch in third person for a bit. If anything is suspicious PB screenies are taken. I typically see 2-3 people banned per day for hacks.
The community is still large enough that it's not worth being cautious with bans. Lots of servers, lots of players.

There is not that many hackers, its called good players. Go play 2142 please, were they noobified everything for people like you.

THAT ISN'T A HACK... that is ****ty netcode. Everyone has that, it's always random.
A hack, is when you watch someone in 3rd person and you see their gun jerking all around and every time you see them shoot they get a kill..
Anything else could be done by spots/uav's etc.. this game pretty much has "built in hacks" if you will (UAV's/commander spots/random spots/your spots/attack markers...etc).. There are a bunch of ways of finding out where people are and killing them before they see you, or even when you don't see them.
You really can't tell if they are hacking unless the admin takes a PB screenshot and that's what I hate about this game.. I wish they had a 1st person spectate.

That's stupid, the majority of the low ranks are people who have started new accounts. Just because someone of low ranking that does well doesn't mean they hack.
