Team mates giving away my position

Right this is my first complaint about people on my team. I play sniper alot and try to keep myself as hidden as possible. I'll do this mainly by staying away from obvious high positions if possible.

Any way, I am now becoming more aware of how some people will, for some reason, stand right next to me in full view of everyone. This will in turn get the attention of the opposing team members, who not only see Mr 'I'm over here' but also see me.

Don't get me wrong, if it's a medic and I'm in need of fixing or support resupplying me, fair enough. However, as for the rest, please go elsewhere and ask yourselfs why you are in a place where you are so limited to what you can do.

No, not the squad leader. play lonewolf alot but try to protect those on my team, flags and be a thorn in the side of the other team.

I agree with that!
But there is a great location on Mash for a sniper squad leader, he can snipe and let others jump down and cap - defend a flag.

Apart from that sniper squad leaders are a pain in the ***

Let me first say:

I love to Shock Paddle them!
I love to Knife them!
I love to Shoot them with something other than sniper rifle from long distances!
I love to Artilary them!
I love it when the last person on the map is a sniper on top of a building

I just plain Love SNIPERS!

Snipers are fun to harass...

When you're going for expert knifing, Snipers become your best friends.

I remember a few days ago, I was Sniping on Wake Island and an enemy Sniper starts sniping beside me. It's not because my commander spotted him out that I had to knife him.

ya dude....i hate that BS.........id be hiding out behind enemy lines sniping dudes, or just taking cover......and some numbskulls come up to me yelling as loud as they can "get ammo here" first aid here"....not only do they see and hear them, but now they see those lil ammo and health icons all around me....effn annoying...


whenever i see a sniper or someone hidig, and im medic or support, ill crawl up to them (yes prone) and just hold out the pack so they get that lovin they need without totally blowin their spot....

When I just started playing BF2 I ended up in a squad with a sniper as the leader. I actually spawned up in a crane on Kubra. Unfortunately I was so clueless I didn't know I had a parachute so I tried to climb down the ladders. I tripped the squad leader's claymore and gave him a TK. I miss being a noob because now I don't have any excuse for doing idiotic things.

That is exactly why I lock my squad.
I like the teamwork and everything,but my teammates always get me killed.
Usually when I'm sniping (If I ever do snipe), they always either spawn on me or just jump around and throw med packs or ammo, when I don't need it.
