Well folks... I've quit the job that was taking my free time from me. So, yesterday I turned on FRAPS trying to record a chopper video... The FPS is really bad when it's on, 1.41 is buggy and my TV skills aren't the same as before. But I made it =P
I was going to make a clipped video, but then I got a decent round soloing in Dalian and tried first to make a tutorial thing (like sloi's), but I gave up after realizing there was not much too it besides TV'ing stuff down.
So, here it is, my first video attempted ever, "Dalian Solo, Uncut":
It's funny how you hate bailers, but then you mysteriously bail out 'by accident' at the end... Subconsciously you didn't want to ruin your perfect score..
Good flying though overall. It looked like it was pretty much You vs USMC. A good chopper pilot can be a real pain in the ***.
It wasn't your TV'ing or seat-switching that impressed me, but the flawless control you had of your chopper.
I clearly have a lot of practicing to do before I can pilot even close to that good.
I hope you don't mind if I steal your moves. Because I'm going to.
Well, I don't mind. But you do have better teachers around, flying was never my strong point.

I lean it a little bit to the left it the target is too close, but if it's far enough I don't care since I can correct it.

Everytime I fired a TV towards a jet (which was flying away from me) the jet was just faster than the missile. I guess the only way to TV a jet is to shoot it whlie it's heading towards you?
I also think that it's harder to TV jets moving away from you... Whatever.

I didn't remap any of my keys. I just punch 'c' very fast.

It was really an accident, because if it went on I'd probably kill them.

You should stay away from flying with me if you want to avoid headaches... I start wilding out all over the place for pure entertainment when I start getting bored. :laugh:

When you can solo good, it means you are a good pilot for a gunner? YES, no question! Since i can line up a shot to TV (when solo) means i line up nicely for a gunner........ but these damn noobs cant shoot s**t...
I now after all these hours of play respect solos (in right situation)

exactly dude, exp. of soloing means u put a target in their tv screen EVERYTIME, but they still miss and watching the tvm trail you can see they were nowhere near it.

Dont get me wrong, nothing better than a good pilot and gunner combo! Can own big time, but im growing to solo everyday, so many idiot gunners out there! AND these are the guys camping the chopper pad :cry:

im not getting you wrong at all, i know that 2 good players in a chopper can get double the kills that one guy can get when soloing.
to beat the nubs camping the chopper pad have a very fast computer and you will load the game and be away before anyone else has spawned. play well and u get to keep the chopper for the whole round

I DO have a fast comp, and CAN get the chopper even if i spawn on the bottom of the carrier (read my other thread) lol
Keeping the chopper is a whole different story, due to the whores! (which im slowly becoming) lmao
