Think of the skill involved in using a gun
    "aim at target" hum...
It takes a HELL of a lot more skill to pop someone at 200 meters with a GL than it does with a gun.

I actually once hated the gun, now I love it, if I get killed by it, I don't care anymore, cause it barely happens. I hate Artillery a lot more.

Think of the colossal stupidity of the enemy that maneuver involves. Who in their insane minds is running at the Assault class to engage them at effective G-Launcher range?

Think of all the crying those *******es did...

Arty takes 15 seconds to deploy. It takes NO skill to be a target of artillery. It takes skill to avoid it.

I use the GL on and off, I used to be a fiend with it but now it just comes in handy now and then. The thing is ****in deadly from rooftops.

The only reason I can see that people whine about it are because they are no good with it. Once you get used to it you'll have a big smile on your face as you clock up 4 kills with one click.

QFT. A good commander will anticipate flag caps and arty accordingly, trick is to scramble as soon as the flag is near capped or simply stay on the edge of an area with masses of friendles.

After nades and claymores, the GL is the next weapon that kills me the most in infantry combat. I can catch an assault guy around the corner, start to go prone as support and before I hit the ground BOOM I'm dead. It sure is an effective weapon, but some assault guys rely on it too much and can be gunned downed easy while reloading.

yesterday is a prime example for the assualt classes assualtful ness

on warlord, i go for 3rd floor palace. the little room at the back, throw my grapple up, throw 2 flashes, get in the room nail the guy with my AR, nail another that spawns, reloading, a medic comes in and meds one, switch to Gl nail both, run onto the flag and... clayed

i am more and more liking the assualt class

on SF its good as theres no roof you cant get on to 'roof monkey' as the Black hawk down term is.

why is it that whenever there's a little extra players using a certain kit that people start complaining?first with snipers and now this

PS it's not possible to get negative k/d ratios in battlefield
