I already have BTX. Everything I have is BTX i dont want to buy new things. Just a new cpu which is the pentium D 945.

How do I find out with chipset I have exactly because i see mobos with the 945P which support the C2D

look on your motherboard to see if it says what make/model it is most usually do

If you go with a core 2 duo, get a non stock heat sink. I used the one that came with my Core 2 duo extreme for about a month, it ran way too hot. So I got a Thermaltank one and it runs amazingly now.
