My Anti-Cheat is the respect of my peers.

Without said respect from other players and friends, I probably wouldn't be playing BF2 anymore; instead I would have quit the moment I got all my unlocks and thus, "Beat the Game."

People cheat for different reasons.

I don't think they cheat to annoy people, because the last thing they would want is for people to know they are cheating. I think its all those answers you have placed in your poll. I think the fact that they "suck" at bf2 would probably be the most common reason why, and the fact that they wanna own people but they "suck" so much at bf2 that they have to cheat to win.

WTF? You seriously consider aimbot and glitching in the same category? And you think it's the same?!! Just to tell you something, 99% of cheats are not aimbots but just simple hacks without many advanced features like aimbot. And aimbot sucks anyway. But seriously, there's something seriously wrong if people think glitching and completely harmless hacks like aimbots are the same thing.

Besides you can spot glithers easily, even avoid them.

That's probably the most common reason. Why not? Who the hell cares anyway. Of course people wouldn't play against their friends/players they know with cheats, at least I couldn't do that.

Why do people glitch then? I don't know. It's freakin funny at first, on BOTH sides of the wall.

From own experience I have not much to say... "Because I can" would probably be the best explanation. Those who spend hundreds of hours exploring the game and learning how it works and how to create cheats and where you can glitch inside a wall are actually better players than those who don't cheat because they think and know a lot more about the game than average. Those who pay hacks must be just desperate.

Yeah, because they can, but also because they suck. Basically, they lack quality character traits such as patience. They can't wait to learn to get good, so they cheat, so they can appear to be good now. There is also the fool that thinks once in a while, an unsuspecting victim won't know they are cheating, and actually believe they are good. Mostly though, I think people cheat because not only do they not respect others, they don't even respect themselves.

It also follows, these same people don't have any problem with lying either.
