What was your 1st PC Game?

I read a thread on a different forum and it got me thinking of mine,

list your 1st PC game you bought or played on PC.

mine was Duke Nukem (it may or may not be right but it hurts to think further back :|: ) on a 5.5" inch floppy disk for my Compaq 386

Probably the most first real DOS flight sim. I know there was another one by DoD or DaD or whatever the **** it's called, and I played that too. And of course, Duke Nukum.



Look at the detail! Still far better than BF2 on low settings, and you never had to worry about aliasing either.

EDIT: The screenshots look familar did you have to enter some kind of code from the manual to boot the game every time? Or am I imagining it?

I think Police Quest - In Pursuit of the Death Angel was my first, I remember driving those pixelated blocks around the streets all day long

yep, was annoying sometimes a few of the older games were the same, ie Zool had a circular code book thingy, and Settlers asked you for a specific word on page ## line ##

Mine would have to be a sidescroller game... kind of like Moon Patrol except with a helo (I forget the name), on my shiny, brand new 8086 4.77 Mhz, CGA graphics (that's 4 whole colors for you youngin's), 12 inch monitor, 10 Meg hard drive..

Boy, those were the days...

I vagely remember playing that Garbaldi, except mine was on a BT floppy disk (...), Don't recall it being in colour though.

Pff, LEGO Racers is so much better. Same with LEGO Rock Raiders.
