Well, you did not respond to any other peoples reasonable posts, so, are you just saying that you have your opinion, and no facts are going to change it? oook then. And that is not the sentiments of "all" groundpounders, almost all jet pilots have spend many hours on the ground as well, we just have a more rounded game. Jets, and other vehicles are part of the game, if you have to switch to other maps to adjust, you are playing a "lite" version of the game, and all that shows, is that you cannot hang with the best players.

And you cannot argue, so why do you even post argumentative things?
Because I'm not going to argue my opinions and experiences in the game. If I say I'm getting bombed and choppered 15 times in a row, and it is accounting for most of the deaths in my game, that's it. You can't argue that. its' fact.

Besides, I don't have to defend myself to you anyway. Who the **** are you?

Hey, you cannot say you did not come to argue, because you did. You posted inflammatory things, without any basis in fact. You claim we all ignore enemy air, and bomb, which is not anywhere near the truth. You think we all think so highly of ourselves, and think everyone else is sucks.

All of the people that fly just wait at the pad all round, or the airstrip, making the team suck, while brave you is out fighting the enemy alone. The people that fly are just out to get you, the lone infantrymen.....which they actually should be, if there are no other targets.

These are all things you said, but not to argue. You pulled a Carmelo Anthony, hitting and running away with your tail between your legs. Maybe you should just go to IO, or a 24/7 Jalalabad or Mashtuur server, and never come out, if you cannot handle What was put into the game, and is supposed to be there!

Wonderful, well thought out response there. It is nice to know that you "win" your internet fights*Not that they mean much*, but throwing out there that the other person is crazy. I just hate to see people like you get away with your idiotic whining, then arguing, and when people have reasonable, well thought out responses, you just insult them, and run away. You are incredible.

*Edit* Also, looked at the OP's stats, they are nice for that rank, very evenly spread throughout the kits.

The funny thing is that later in the match he said the same thing to the other pilot. I gave me a chuckle   when he did that and made me realize that he was probably the noob and just was tired of dying.

What are the facts? I don't have facts. I can't show stats that show how many deaths I had in one round due to airborne units.

If I post that lately I've been getting air-whored out of existence on the servers I'm playing, that they seem unchallenged in the air, and that I have observed pilots on my team switch to the other when we lose an airbase, and they in turn are seen bombing me - Where do you get off telling me that I'm wrong about that? I'm posting my experience. Yet you seem to want to attack that - therefore, I posted "you're nuts", because the conversation was going wayyyyyy downhill.

Anyways, I've calmed down and back to respond to some of your posts.

You're right. Not all pilots ignore enemy air and bomb. I apologize for not adding a disclaimer to my post to that effect.

Well, if someone posts "You're just a noob", or "Learn to fly", or "Go play elsewhere then", "You're wrong, you don't know what you're talking about", etc., isn't that an elitist attitude? You may find me sound generalist when I post on this forum, doesn't mean I am. I'm not going to add "Not all" disclaimers to each of my posts - I'm sure you can assume that without always arguing the semantics of each.

Actually, yes. On the several servers I play on, especially on air maps like Wake Island, Kubra Dam, Dragon Valley, Zatar, etc I find the majority of the team is still sitting on the Essex or equivalent enemy's airbase fighting over the planes and choppers, while I am in fact capping that first flag. There are many, many rounds that if I hadn't aggressively pushed onto Wake Island (in half a rage to fuel the push), taken out the infantry, vehicle and initial tank and make a run for the North Base, the entire map would stay Chinese. In many cases, I AM the lone defender. It pisses me off. I wish my team would forget about the damn planes and start capping. I hate losing. I want to win. Our team can't win while they mill about an uncap or chopper base (Woodyard, etc) waiting for the next air unit spawn.

But hey, if you have a few servers in North America you play on, where there is more teamwork, players aren't doing as previously said, and working together, I'm all there.

Do not have much time to respond, but I will make it quick. I Never said ground pounders were noobs, I do it all the time. I say learn to fly, not in a derogatory way, but because it will help you take out the enemy jet, so you will not be bombed into oblvion. That is just one way, obviously you do not need to do anything you do not want to.

Do you live in a foreign country (I mean, not North America..), as most servers I play on, the majority of people do not just camp air vehicles....I find the majority of the servers people would much rather go out and do something, then just wait for a jet, I know I do. If your team is doing that, then, to put it bluntly, they suck. It is a crappy team, and you will almost certainly lose, and get raped to death while out fighting, if the other team is not doing the same as yours :) I guess all you can do is try and find a better server, not much else you can do.

Well, if there is an effective jet pilot on the other team, sometimes you have to get "tricky" to not get killed by them, as they will know most of the well travelled routes, and will make there guns/bombs count. When I am in trouble with jets, if I cannot shoot them down in a couple tries from an IGLA/Stinger, I will just walk everywhere I go :) THat will generally save me quite a few times, as I do not light up on there bomb screen.

*EDITED* If you like Dalian plant, you could try DMOC Dalian, as it generally has some good teamwork, out capping flags. I do not know its IP. I know of another server, run by the clan i am in, =BFS= where most of the people have only played IO/city maps, and they recently opened up a vehicles/all maps server, so they spend most of the time fighting on the ground, as they crash a lot (sorry guys :)) it's IP is: 72.232.193.12 It is normally only populated after 5 or 6 Central (US) time though, not during the rest of the day.

                        Re: It actually happened

Ok, to end this.. Entity if you are getting killed by airunits too much.. it is actually YOUR fault.. yes you read right.

                        Why?

Try not to get into ANY car, or anything that will show up on a bomb HUD. Don't get in any armor if there is a chopper up.. and if you are infantry, avoid the common paths taken, because those are randomly sprayed down all the time. If a chopper/jet spots you, then you will probably die.. but you were out in the open.

What you are describing, Sounds like you need to find some better servers.. I have never heard a jet pilot/chopper pilot call groundpounders noobs..

I can groundpound really good, and I have a ton of time/experience in all air vehicles.. Do I call groundpounders noobs? No. Why? First off I don't use that word cause it sounds gay as hell, second, because I groundpound just as much as I fly.. so I know what it's like on both sides of the fence. I have no problem avoiding air vehicles.. the main reason for that most likely being that I know how they think and all that.

Maybe try getting in an air vehicle and know what it's like to be on both sides before you start talking about this biased ****.

jets and choppers are super fun.. its just to bad they have longer lines than a ride a great america and when your finally next in line the guy behind you shoots you in the head.

Ground pounding is super fun... super quick and best of all you dont get tk'ed all that often.

It is very common knowledge that having an experienced pilot in your squad or team is awesome and is a huge contribution to victory.

But it is also very common knowledge that having skilled ground pounding squads is a huge contributor to winning.

So if i had to make a pun i would say that:

battlefield is like a cake. and airtime is like the icing....

but ground pounding is like the keg over in the corner full of boose.... its a **** load of fun when you have alot of folks willing to do it with you.

and that my friends is why battlefield 2 is a winner... diversity

Really, It's something I DID? Rofl. No, it's the failure of, or lack of, air units on our team to deal with the airborne threat. I have little or no defense against the bombs dropped on me from above.
